She thinks may be she is slightly psychic, it's more like gift that can't be harnessed...maybe like a bit of clairvoyance...or a full weirdo or maybe a bit of premonition upon clairvoyance or maybe just some weird power of seeing into the other people's mind, getting rare pictures of what other is picturing

All her life she lived in denial that she could be of those kinds.

She didn't want any of it. She just wanted to be normal

She wants nothing to do with her extra sensory power

In general she pretends she dint get a sense a feeling or a premonition but sometimes if it's truly serious she tries to help; but in general people label her as silly

She doesnt say much... even if she would like to help... she wants to fit in; yet sometimes she would get some feeling and some emotion some expression would betray her and people would tag her as weird'

The more crowded the place more uneasy she grows...

Her most reliable power is clairvoyance

When she touches human skin she just gets the feeling...a gut feeling about the person and its generally right

Her behavior to an observer is a bit strange. Chalte-chalte she would frown jaise pata nahi kya ganda dekh liya, kisi se pehl baar milte ho she would make a disgusted face or breaks into a rainbowy smile. Sometimes she may go to a house if someone is showing and would keep blurting its history without even knowing about it

She rarely has friends, she is lonely and sad

She doesnt want the power

Once a person falls, everyone goes awww, lagi to nahi'. Geet is hmm hmm hm hmm hmm continuing with her work not bothered or registering. Aesa logon ko laga that she is indifferent, par aesa nahi hai. She is just so use to keeping a tight lid ki agar wo bhi bhaagi dusron ki tarah help karne to bheed mein pehele pata nahi kitne logo ko touch karegi phir jo gira hai usse touch kiya, uska pain maano usme transfer ho gaya to? Normally it never happens but she is cautious

She doesnt touch anyone; who knows clairvoyance may turn into what

Kisi se kuch lena ho to wo durr se leti hai yaa kehti hai just drop it on my hand

But she also wants to fit in, be normal

So she takes a deep breath, freezes her face and shakes hand if she has to, if there is no avoidance

She always had this dream whenever she was extra sad or lonely, when it was almost the breaking point; an old lady with pure white hair, with white gown and with a whitest feather in her hand emerging from a divine white light

The lady would look at her and say

Just hold his hand...and you will know

It was a confusing dream...but it will come again and again

Sometimes the lady would keep changing appearance but say the same thing

Sometimes Geet would feel she is standing at an edge of bridge, sundar sa din hai, all sunny and nice. The lady comes next to her as a teenager now, says hi and offers her the candy she is having. Geet ne hath badaya, candy giri, Geet jhuki candy uthane ko; achanak dhaka laga and she is falling and the girl from above is waving and seeing just take his hand and you will know

The mystery lady would pop up at the worst time in her dreams

Sometimes the dream could be soothing or sometime tremulous like that one

Sometime it could just be that she is lying in a beautiful garden and someone is combing her hair and when she looks it's her head on the lady's lap, she is dressed in all long lost era dress and she still says just take his and you will know

Geet zara city se durr rehti hai

She was feeling suffocated in her home

Something was telling her to go out go out

Wo jaati hai bahar

She was having a feeling that she is getting late, she has to be somewhere and she is late inspite its holiday and her day off

Stronger the feeling more firmly she would plant feet inside the house.

Until she catches the glimpse of the teenager with the candy in the mirror just for a nano second

After the last night's dream she thought better and goes out and ran where her feet took her

She always tried to run away from the horrifying lady of her dream, her repeated appearance creeped her out

She goes on the dark empty road

It's a highway

She feels a strong beam of lights coming from afar

It was surely a speeding car

She went to a corner to let it pass but something unexplainable happened to her and she jumped in front of the car as it came close

Fortunately, the driver put the brakes at the correct time and the car stopped with a screech

She screamed

NOOO DONT GOOO DONTTT GOOO!!!!!

Then she clasps her hand over her mouth to stop her own insanity and steps off the road but not before warding out the passenger of the car into curiosity

ARE YOU MADDD?????

Geet looks up at the tall figure of a well-built man with the commanding voice who was looking at her with red furious eyes

She didn't know she was facing Maan Singh Khurana

She didn't know this man would change her life forever

She didn't know now her life would have two phases-before and after

Half the people who know her believed she is mad and said so; the other half is polite to not say it on her face

But if Geet is mad, the Maan is no less

In simple terms, he is two words- depressed and masochist

He derives pleasure from his own misery and pain

During his college time, he had a group of best friends, real best buddies and he liked this gal...really from his heart...madly and badly in love but eventually his best friend married his girlfriend and went somewhere

Maan baukhlaa gaya and he is still chanting her name

So his day includes working like a donkey in the day...getting drunk and driving to some no man's land daily and thinking how long will he survive coz either the alcohol will kill him or some accident

But abhi tak aisa kuch major hua nahi

He wants to know how it ends

If you rate irritation and annoyance at scale of 1 to 10, his level always starts from 3; then it may increase with provocation

Professionally, he overtakes companies that are falling apart and then sells them piece by piece and make neat profit and sometimes if the company got worth you can save it, but more often than not he sells

He is miserable on his own; he has no sense of sympathy. So people asking him to save them doesnt really bother him...the tears, the begging, and the cursing. Its business, nothing personal. His mind is a well-oiled machine which he refuels daily and it has nothing to do with summiting futile like emotions which he once invested great deal in. Now he discounts emotions as nothing
