I believe all 3 are at fault when it came to halwa.
Sona: she promised she would cook exactly as per Ishwari's receipe, but she was stupid enough to not only to follow the exact recipe but also not to even taste it.
Ishwari: she gave the correct recipe..
No issues there...but she was cunning enough to throw sona under the bus. She could have asked sona why she did not use all the ingredients as is and why she altered the recipe.
Dev: he was a complete idiot. What is he 5...who curses the food this much. He is an adult and should shown his dislike in a proper adult manner. He knew it was not prepared by his mom...but as he said it could have been one of his sisters learning or even Mami. He talked as if it was the end of the world.
