It is amazing to see the parallel contrasts in Adi and Shrav's lives. Adi grew up with the comforting haven and love that was Shravan's destiny - while Shravan was materialistically provisioned and lucky, emotionally he grew up with the burden of a lot of baggage - his own and that of his father. He has been "giving more" in that sense to cater to his father's insecurities, and the fear of losing each other. Adi on the other hand got Nirmala's love - even that love which was rightfully Shravan's share. No matter what circumstances led to this, he has grown up with a comforting, secure and emotionally abundant environment, which explains his carefree attitude somewhat. He likes Sumo, no doubt but the depths of his like are not as strong as Shravan - for sure. Shravan has harbored true love and care for Sumo long enough - and even as Shravan fights himself to accept Sumo as is, often being sarcastically indifferent to her - in his own twisted way he just knows how Sumo is and is not trying to change her - atleast not slyly. He trusts Sumo to be "selfish, independent, egoistic", or if you read between the lines, just the way she is. It's just his fathers words that are clouding him, and all he wants from her is an assurance that she wont leave him (Which his mother and she both have done in the past). Adi on the other hand, does not truly respect Sumo because he is going about helping her slyly. He is just not "explicitly" showing her that he is helping her to keep her impression of being self dependent intact, but is in fact stabbing it from behind the back, which Sumo wont appreciate once she finds out for sure. However, no matter what the spoilers say, Adi cant get Shravan's share of love one more time. For whatever reason, this happened once with Nirmala, but it can't happen all over again with Sumo. Can I hope against hope that despite the dire circumstances (and Nanu pressure etc.) Sumo will say no to Aditya proposal - even if not for the sake of Shravan's love, atleast for the sake of his friendship because accepting this proposal means bye bye Shravan forever - after all this means, she is now Nirmala's daughter in law - and I hope this is not the price she is willing to pay. I don't feel Adi can snatch Shravan's share of happiness again - although the first time it was destiny and not really his fault , it is about time that he will "pay forward" for what was duly Shravan's...

Agree This time it should be Shravan's turn. I hope sumo's turns down the proposal and at least tell her nanu she loves Shravan. I think Nanu would understand.

Whether or not she says she loves Shravan, I hope she just says she doesn't love Adi - so atleast this gives Shravan some confidence and trust in her. If for whatever reason she says yes, then ShraMan are doomed for ever as the general insecurities and compex of Shravan will become even more deep rooted - and even if they have a hate marriage, this will become another run off the mill show. I hope Sumo says no to Adi - and then whatever happens happens... But I dont want Sumo to feed into Shravan's insecurity - they went way ahead with the whole trust issue and they cant go back 1000 steps... I love how Shravan is so caring for sumo - its almost like his voice modulation changes when he is talking to her with concern - Hats of to Namik for that... He even says, only if you are okay with it, i can help - he does not even offer her the land again - he is just offering to find a place for her as a friend, but hamari Sumo bhi na... galat time pe on aur galat time pe off hoti hai...

Very well written.

Now that Sumon knows Adi is Nirmala's son she definitely should not agree for the proposal no matter whatever the pressure is (Nanu's health or whatever else). She should know the difference between accepting any marriage proposal and a proposal for NIRMALA's son. She will lose shravan forever and she should.

I haven't watched this week episodes yet but reading updates sumo is reminding me of a headless chicken... running without seeing. Yeah she should say that clearly to all party concerned. Tired of this comedy of misunderstanding.

Namik is all sorts of awesome. I love his voice modulation too whenever he's concerned for her. Guy is perfect for Shravan character.

Exactly. And seeing the way she is going I have no hope that she realises the gravity of the situation.

Really Adi and shravan are two differently brought up people...shravan has valid reasons for his emotional make up...sumo has accepted shravan as he is...even shravan has accepted symo...but with ramu clouding both their minds...all this mus..adi is just taking undue benefits of their fights...hope sumo says no to adi...i didn't getthe reason why sumo did not refuse nimmo immediately...god knows...if sumo accepts adi proposal...her character would be beyond redemption

Thanks for the appreciation noexcuse...

And win7, That's the problem with Sumo - she never realizes the gravity of the situation ever. Remember, when that whole you like it that i miss you think happen - one second she was worried about hurting Shravan, but very next it was like, did you miss me... she is not untrustworthy - but a bit of a flippant and carefree personality and unfortunately it is always playing against her.

Yeah and as much as Sharavan understand her she doesn't understand him. In her memory is the old sharavan. The annoying thing about indian serials is you hardly get to see lead characters reflecting and learning their lesson. No, they repeat their mistakes over and over again.
