Chad and Sophia were married at one point but then Chad had an affair (or there may be more reasons behind it) but I think that was why they ended their marriage.

I do rmr reading an article somewhere that Sophia had asked the director to have as little scenes with Chad as possible as she didnt' wanan work with him

yeah the reason was never really said but both were upset about the split

I felt so bad for her cuz right when she broke it off with Chad her character gave Lucas another chance. I was like awwww
