If it was so simple, why didnt they show Shravan doing it?

I agree, I don't understand either why Shravan's character who quite obviously cares so much for Suman and her family and is beyond the fancies of showing off cannot stand up for what's right... But I think this is a stepping stone for the character development. Self respect, independence was what his mother did not get and had to separate from Ramnath. When he learns to value it in Suman, is when he will co relate it to his mother to understand her.

Sumo was right that Shravan misses his mother and she is very much there in his subconscious mind. He misses that motherly love which Kamini showers on Varun and Pushkar. So he is viewing Kamini just as a mother and is standing by her. It is not that he could not ask his dad to do it. He is totally clueless about dad's evil plan.

Once he is united with his mother, he will be a better person.

It looked like, Shravan was reacting to Sumo's indifference to him rather than make a well thought out decision. They could have done 2 marriages, one at home strictly with close family and another in the hotel.

But then again nothing in this marriage is realistic! Wont Mama mami talk to the elders in the other family, viz Lalaji, Ramu and ofcourse Preeti to Push the groom? Why Kameeney straight away?

THE CVS ARE TAKING CREATIVE LIBERTY WITH THIS TRACK! They want to showcase how Adi and Shra are exact opposites.

Adi comes out as a positive person and Shravan a pessimist (in this track).

Adi corrects his mistake and finds a solution, Shravan fights and blames it on Sumo.

Adi being constructive and Shravan being destructive.

Having stated all these... we know that this is not the real Shravan. Yes, Shravan has all these characteristic traits... but in essence he does comes to his senses at extreme situations.

Lets go back to the Khosla track, a guy talks bad about Sumo and he could not leave her and goes after her. Then when his entire family stops him he still goes for what he believes is right.

But is this the Shravan that we see in the current track? I think not. We are not seeing the smarty pants Shravu the lawyer. We are seeing the Shravu the son of Niru, a thoroughly confused soul.

But inspite of all these differences one highlight is that Sumo has no feelings for Adi and is mad about Shravan. But only Ramu and Kameeney are privy to this and no one else. Aint this really funny 😆😆

Hey Indra, death bed wishes are treated very seriously in our country 😊. In that respect, I guess Nanu's health takes a front seat to Kameeney's wish. However, there is always a win win situation to this problem. Keep 2 shaadis, happens all the time. Shravu could have suggested that they have a Shaadi in front of Nanu with the close family and do the remaining rituals in the hotel.

Also, marriage is a big function and usually elders take the decisions on such occasions. But here everything is done by Shravan and Sumo. The CVs sure have lost their marbles 😆😆

Any sane guy should have consulted his dad in the first place!! With Sumos pct Shravu wants to consult his dad but with Nanu he tells nothing to his dad. Given that Ramu gives a lot of importance to Nanu. Even otherwise, is a bride side close relative being seriously unwell is not a news to be trivialized. As their death could indeed stop the marriage. Mama mami should have spoken to Lalaji, Ramu and Push!!

If all these reasons fail and we say Shravan considers Kameeney to be a good mother and hence is soft towards her... why did he really decide to go against her in the Khosla track. She was trying to support her son then too!! Even then she was being a good mother, infact at that time almost all the family members supported Kam.

All said and done, this is a show. For the show to continue the ML and FL should not see eye to eye. If they did... then there is no love story to tell.

So, its pointless to justify Shravan / Sumo being good or bad. Lets just have fun watching the show. We are bound to have a few more character yoyos before we finally get the marriage. Till then the charecters are bound to go to the extremes. I am now waiting for Sumo to do a Shravan 😉😉.

Btw, which Shaadi has a 1 week time difference between Haldi and the marriage 😆😆😆
