Ex-Bigg Boss contestant accuses Salman Khan of destroying his career

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been hosting the most controversial reality shows on TV - Bigg Boss for the past seven years. The actor has made headlines several times for his weekend conversations with the contestants. One of the most controversial seasons of all time was the fifth season which had the likes of Akashdeep Saigal, Pooja Bedi, Shakti Kapoor, Meheck Chahal and others.

Akashdeep, who got into a spat with Salman Khan on the show, recently accused the Sultan actor of destroying his career. Also known as Sky, Akashdeep hasn't been seen on screen ever since his stint on the reality show.

The actor in a conversation with The Times of India said that he doesn't hire a 'PR to destroy someone's career'.

When asked if he had moved on from the infamous spat he had with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss? Sky said, "Totally! But I don't know if he has. I never hired any PR to destroy a career. I don't have a petty mind. I don't take 10 people along with me to make myself seem more powerful." (Read the original story here)

Are you are still in touch with your fellow contestants from Bigg Boss?

Juhi Parmar, Sunny Leone, Mandy Beverly and Pooja Bedi are all my nearest and dearest friends post Bigg Boss. We are all in continuous touch, and recently Juhi, Pooja Bedi and I holidayed together in Dubai. It's been an incredibly personally rewarding show for me.

There was a time when even Sanjay Dutt and Salman were rather miffed with you. Have you made peace with them?

I was shocked that Salman Khan came into celebrity home, attacked me personally, attempted to demoralise me and put me in a bad light. I'm glad that I was respectful, held my ground and maintained my dignity. I met a lot of viewers post Bigg Boss who told me that they were upset to see me being picked on by the hosts. And in hindsight I can say their victimisation of me won me many hearts and friends.

Do we see you participating in a reality show anytime soon?

I'm often told I'm tailor-made for reality shows. I'm not sure whether it's a compliment or an insult. If it's a compliment - many thanks for the same, but if said derogatorily, all I have to say

in typical Sky style is "frikkin buzz off baby" !!!

What's that one thing that you would like to tell your detractors, who have been bad-mouthing you?

I'd ask them to stop piggy-backing on me to gain publicity. The show is OVER!!! MOVE

Are you open to a saas bahu show again?

What matters to me on TV are the producers and channel I work with. I always keep my options open , and I believe in working with the BEST!
