@Aarti: I LOVED her imitation of his muhahaha laugh last week! I mentioned somewhere else that that was definitely one of the highlights of the week for me...but I'll maintain that I wanna see them moving forward atleast somewhat...these fights will get very old very soon if they don't change things up again😉 so do we...we don't want this regression, but this is better than stagnation. i don't think i would've survived another wistful look or another slip and catch sequence or another note from the background track!!!! ideally they should move forward, but they are lost...have no idea how to!! the fights are actually slightly different this time. a little more intelligently planned!! it feels like suddenly the creatives came up with some new ideas for fights and were desperate to use them and so forced the cultural show showdwon so they could bring those ideas in!!!

I understand what you are saying, and I've been dealing with the issue the same way myself. I enjoyed last week more than the weeks before just because they didn't remind me of the stagnated state of the Armaan-Riddhima angle of the story. But after the lastest episode, I can't help but think if Armaan's going to adopt the same "Oh I am done with you, oh but wait I'm not" poilicy with Riddhima. That is what is pushing my buttons. And I guess that is why I feel that this could be prevented had Armaan acted the way he should right from the beginning. This nonchalant attitude to all of Riddhima's injustices is just what is honestly making me very very frustrated!!! I mean what world does this guy live in??!!! How many of us will put up with this and that too for this long?!?!?! If they are trying to make a realistic show, the least they could do is stick to the basic laws of nature regarding frustration and anger. If anything those are the most common emotions we feel as human beings since we tend to see the bad before good easily. I just fail to understand how two characters we started out feeling so affiliated with, have turned into these "Super patient hero boy" and "Ridiculously dumb immature girl".

DD..No arguments there!Women clamour for attention..
Its no different with Ridz!

Armaan shows the same need when it comes to her.
These two have eyes, lips and pranks only for each other!
Will not discuss abt Ridz as thats pretty much covered in ur post.

But Armaan!Have we seen him playing pranks on Atul/Sapna/Angy?No!Partly coz he knows what royal spanking he will get in return and also because he is not interested! He is notty and fun loving but his pranks are only for Ridz because he longs for that attention from some1 he loves(seemingly lacking from his family). And she doesnt fail him there!Newtons 3rd law holds good for these two for whatever he does she gives and equal and opposite reaction!
Perhaps it is this reassurance that he finds solace and complacence in that one way or another she also targets only him, be it for affection or jokes, or anger!
So we women are not alone when it comes to seeking attention!

@ notty...newton said it all!!! and while armaan is aware of why he chooses ridhima as his target every now and the, ridhima is yet to awaken to the same fact. so far she sees her reactions to armaan merely retaliatory. but how is it that she does not react similarly to others. she has never questioned herself on why she allows armaan to get under her skin so much. why does she find it sooooo difficult to ignore him???

While I agree that the entire sequence is a bit juvinile, there may be another reason why Armaan cant ignore Ridhima. By his own admission (and whatever we've been shown) he's quite a ladies man with women chasing him and him getting his way with women. Additionally, as he says, lots of women have been in and out of his life but none have touched his heart.

So for him, its a double whammy. Not only is Ridhima not ready to fall into his arms but seems to thwart every attempt that he makes. Her unwillingness to fall in line with his desires, I guess, keeps him hooked. Also its the first time that he's fallen in love with someone so its impossible for him to ignore her.

Though I do wish the creatives had potrayed Ridhima as a slightly more sensible character. She comes across as juviline, idiotic, completely irrational and ready to freak at the slightest provocation on even at the lack of it. If this is how the creatives percieve the modern day Indian youth, maybe we were better off earlier.

Makes me wonder, how a chilled guy like Armaan falls for her, though they do say opposites attract.

I just hope the next few episodes are sensible!

i don't think that the play between Ridz and Armaan is completely unrealistic for i'm myself in such a situation...
i agree with one of the above posts that Armaan loves her so much that it's impossible for him to ignore her.

Aarti...so while I wait for u know what...just wanted to say smthng that came to my mind on seeing Armaan's agony today...(lyrics of an old song)

Seems like each time
Im with you I loose my mind,
Because Im bending over backwards to relate.
Its one thing to complain
But when youre driving me insane
Well then I think its time that we took a break.

HE just loves her too deeply to be able to control his impulses...

And yes loved that u put across one feminine trait so honestly - we women do crave attention!!! 😳
