So much has been said about the complexities hidden in the depths of the unfathomable mind of the mysterious woman…a movie, so many jokes, so many frustrated remarks, so many surrendering defeats…all dedicated to understanding what women want. Women themselves betray their kind attributing the worst ever convolutions to the female psyche. But our dear Doctor seems to have it all down to pat! His only trouble seems to be to follow his own advice to others.
Women maybe complicated but once you figure them out, in Minnie's cute little words, they are all the same. It makes me wonder why, then, does our super perceptive Doctor not understand the uniformity of the intricacies of a woman's mind? And if he does, why does he choose not to exploit his astute perceptions.
I will not betray my fellow mates by divulging all the secrets hidden in the profundity of our enigmatic minds, but since one has been revealed, I will proceed to elucidate that. All women love attention. Of any kind. Positive or negative. We revel in it, we take pleasure out of it and we miss it when it is gone. We may not even appreciate the source of the said attention, but we still wonder why we have suddenly been deprived of it.
So while Armaan's advice to Atul to ignore Anjali has borne fruition, one wonders why he himself finds it impossible to ignore Ridhima. Sure, the nature of his attention has changed drastically, but somewhere Ridhima knows and is complacent in the knowledge that one way or another Armaan targets only her, be it for affection or jokes, or anger.
It is time Armaan shows Ridhima what his relentless concentration on getting a reaction from her means to her. It is time for Armaan to awaken Ridhima to the cruel possibility of a complete absence from her life. It is time for Armaan to obliterate completely, the name Ridhima and the person it belongs to, from his radar. It is time for Ridhima to pine for Armaan, to need his love, to crave his anger, to lust for his pranks... to ask for his attention.
