As we know 'kinnar' means both TG and intersex. There r so many different posts on this topic. I think the makers will not go very deep into this subject. They will just show somu as kinnar in general n the life they lead. Their struggle, their hardships... How she is accepted by her family in the end. If they go deep then it may become more n more complicated to explain. They may end up confusing ppl with all their drama. I personally don't think RS or Rangeela is capable of carrying this show...Indian tv still has a long way to go.

I actually don't want them to go much deep especially when we know RS... This is a sensitive subject... It's better they just throw light on life of TGs or kinnars through this show n gradually making understand saumya's disorder to be some medical condition mistook by her uneducated parents.
Rather than making a joke out of everything... I think this one is better option

Yes, they should not make a joke out of it. If u see udaan, the show on bonded labour/ child labour, that is also a sensitive topic which is still prevalent in India. They did not show anything deep about bonded labour. Just a few things superficially n then drama. Now it is just kichadi.😕

Same thing with tapki. The girl who stammers. They did not go deep into her problem.
Shakthi will also turn into a fulfleged family drama. After a few months the makers may even forget she is a kinnar...lol.
