Rajeev Khandelwal

So i happened to watch Aamir, Table no 21 and Shaitan recently. I found all the three movies intriguing and to be a nice watch. And Rajeev Khandelwal definitely had my attention in all the three movies. His Performance was great. To me he is an unconventional hero. I dont particularly find him good looking or hot. But he definitely has something in him which connects with me as an audience.

Yes. As it is, he acts in very few movies. I think he has a lot more potential in him if he uses it wisely.

It does seem that way.

It's tough but tv stars should maintain a balance in doing movies and say short tracks in popular TV serials. The charm that RK had as Sujan is long lost. He is now just another actor in BW who doesn't stand out really .

As a fan, I feel what works for him is the way he connects to the audience through his characters. He is one heck of an actor. He simply absorbs the vulnerability, the passion, the emotions of the character into himself and reflects it so brilliantly. I feel his successful transition has a lot to do with the kind of cinema he is doing. He is not insecure or clueless. Most of the tv stars want to become the next SRK. Desire for popularity/Fame/Success is what drives most of the tv actors towards films because this is a bigger platform. But for Rajeev the kind of cinema he wants to do comes foremost, much before everything else. Yes I agree his films might not look that rosy from trailers because even for a non-commercial film be it a thriller or a crime based story directors do decide to make it commercial by adding such elements. But I am sure even fever will have a intriguing story coz Rajeev seems too confident about it.

He is an amazing actor who actually gets into the skin of the character. He makes you fall in love with the character. He is way too talented, but at the same time he is not somebody who is after name and fame. He always does off beat movies. He did try doing 1 or 2 entertainers like will u marry me but nah that is not his type. Fever should be good too minus Gauhar Khan.

I really like his acting . He was so good in Reporters .

I have been following Rajeev for years now and if there is one thing I have understood about him then that is he is the kind of actor who does not like to repeat ANY roles. From the moment he got privilege of making different choices in the type of roles he could play, he has picked the most complex characters to play because I think he really enjoys that aspect of his career where he gets into the skin of the character and becomes the character.
