consfusion about soumnya

Hi All

Actually according to toi she is intersex women. She can't be transgender because that can't be detected during her birth.

Teh only source of knowledge of saumya is her mother n she never told her anything... So she is unaware about her disorder

Somya is most probably intersex...basically she is someone who feels n lives like a girl but might have some gene problem or ambiguous genitals ...depends on what they r gonna show...the show might be dealing with unawareness related to all the third sex...Somya has no knowledge of outside world or other social norms as her mom was her only source of knowledge n she has never been to school so her no idea about it is kinda believable

I'm confused too..soumya may be born as an intersex child with atypic genitals and the family cudnt identify her sex at that time and coz of their lack of knowledge they have misjudged her as a transgender..and soumya has all feminine features and there are chances of an intersex having menstrual cycle coz she have ovaries and a uterus in her body..and even if soumya doesn't have a social life and dont know anything abt human body structure we can't ignore the fact that she was living with three woman in the same house..and surbhi born and brought up in front of her..I doubt soumya missed how a Woman behaves when she is on her period and never witnessed a naked baby while
