It might be true that Nanu considers Nirmala to be his daughter and may be he knows the reason for the separation of Ramu and Nirmala. Still it is not correct to invite her after what SHravan and Ramnath[arranged the specialist to visit her] did after Sumo's accident!

He can just inform her but inviting her is not correct!

I think cvs have been like typical daily soaps like these days. event or party means drama so they dumbed down the characters. even marriage sequence being dragged when they used to finish a track in a week.
