Yes those who have son are very lucky in India cuz their is no need to give dowry for son's marriage, their son's will lifelong bear their parent's expenses ,their son will lifelong will be with them what more benefit is son's wife become a servent to them and their is no need to give salary to her instead she will bring dowry so that having son will be so much advantage but if we have daughter's we don't get anything so son parent's in India r so lucky

Dowry in this day and age shouldn't happen. So many girls are held to ransom for it. It shouldn't be condoned.

not only dowry should banned but also this culture where daughter in-laws should come to her husband's parent's house should also be banned see most men's say ohh we won't come and stay at wife parent's house blah blah but girl's should do it cuz of our culture ...in all countries girls will stay saparatly with her husband but husband have to look over his parent's and she should look her parent's but in India girls should complusary stay in her in-laws house and she should be like a servent to in laws and bring half property from her parent's but should not have responsibility towards her parent's. .. like men's girls should also stay away from her in-laws so that she will have her individuality,freedom,hapiness, respect,not a free maid ,indentity

According to me one should neither give dowry nor take dowry. If they want money. let them work for it. There's no shortcut to success. If you give dowry, the in-laws will not be satisfied. They will ask for more.

that is totally bad ,actually why should men's demand dowry,marriage is equally important to both men's and women's so why women's should give dowry and yeah men's will bear wife expenses but for that wife is doing all his works and many wife's are doing equal job and earning equally with husband but then too demanding dowry ... so as per you if a daughter's father will give his only house to his daughter as a dowry so that house should be given to her sister in law and that same house will be given to her sister in law so A GIRL'S FATHER HARD EARNED MONEY WILL BE SHARED BY HIS DAUGHTER'S IN LAWS WOW 😡

I agree with you👏 we should not ask money from girl's old parent's from where they will bring money ,son will say i should bear my old parent's expenses cuz they r old which is 100% justice but same men will order wife to bring dowry from her old parent's, if men want money he should earn it,he should satisfy whatever money he has ,he should ask wife to do job(if he want wife to do job then he should share household works too) but asking dowry from girl parents is crime
