Hey there everyone. I think I should put streamers and other decor to welcome you all but since you guys know what lazy mess I am; you probably wouldn't be expecting any of that, no?šš
And man what a shitty filler it was!! There was nothing that you'd like to see or ponder over. I do understand that running a daily for seven days a week is no easy task but in an event such as this can't they chalk out their episodic stories in a manner that you have both content for the audience and breather for the actors? Firstly they've hordes of character that needs to be dealt with at some point or the other, so instead of focusing on the leads every time they can concentrate on others and blend it with the main narration. I do agree that all of us are keener on watching the ObBros but a little bit of this and that wouldn't hurt us at all. The story began on a fast pace but is now slowly down really fast. I am in no mood for a drag fest, they need to strike a balance and show it all bit by bit.
And for heaven sake's get a better editor for the episodes. The guy is clearly thinking that he is part of some Naag, Naagin stuff and that is the reason why he is adding all absurd and weird VFX in every goddamn scene. I mean who the hell does that??? And why???š²
So we begin with Dadi, Om and Rudra reminiscing over all that they saw previously. Honestly when the scene was dished out I thought they'd reveal something about Shivaay. His facets and hidden intricacies but I was a bit disappointed to see none of that happen. Instead it was reduced to laugh-it-off-and-move-on kind of a stuff. Shivaay is character that is unable to express what he really feels. All his layers are peeled off either in absentia or when he suppresses himself from the normal gazes of the world. He opens only when he is with Omkara or Dadi; even then he is not out in the open completely. This was one moment that he could have been explored more but then again; the moment passed away too soon.
Anyways I'd like to skip over the Shivaay-Anika scene; well the most of it for Shivaay asking Anika to shut it on the case of that microchip was something that I had wanted to see. So far there had been no damage control either by the Oberoi family or their PR people. At least Shivaay spoke that one line that showed he hasn't cowed down to all of that. A little squeeze of something good in otherwise bland rendition of this one front it was. Why are they taking back steps? When they have made both into challenges for the other; why can't they stick to the same? This to-ing and fro-ing is something that I have a massive problem with. Either you decide on sticking to A or switch to B, don't run back and forth.
Next up is Ishana. While I am not the kind of person who'd normally say so but then again, I told you so! Didn't I say that she was acting all stupid to run all over the city looking for Mona/Noni when all she had to do was call up her sister and ask to return home at once? I mean she usually harps about using her brain, so does that stop functioning most of the time? And hiding the truth of extortion calls from her sister, this is something I need to be explained. Mona is already in the thick of it. She knows what profession her sister flaunts, she knows the kind of father they have so are you telling me she wouldn't know someone badgering them for money? Also the fertile imagination, that everyone is blessed with these days, would tell her all the vicious things that can happen to her or her sister owing too them being women. The whole family sucks on the brainy front. And now Ishana's act of beginning with her con. So she again dashes and collides with Om, hands him something and then hides form imaginary goons. Really woman? For someone who has been in this business for long should know better. The moment you create a story you are bound to fail somewhere of the other. Best connivance are those that function on lies of omission and elements of truth. She is caught in a predicament, however far fetch it sounds, she is struggling through a soup. All she had to do was use that truth in her story to make it look believable. The way she came running up was enough to raise someone's suspicions to Defcon One. I am not going to address her as a con-artist because that'd be the insult to them. I had hated Seher to moon and back for I thought she was stupid but in front of Ishana I'd run to her with open arms!
And if Ishana started out as stupid she is turning dumb. What was the need of adding remorse in her act? I am sorry Omkara? Are you even serious girl? I don't want this love story to progress anywhere now. It would be much better if Om turns gay. I cannot take a sad excuse of love interest that is Ishana. A con-woman is no less than an alpha herself because she preys with deadly accuracy, this is honesty a felony when it comes to writing. Damn! I had pinned my hopes on this one.
Also please make Vrushika emote better. The scene where she sees her sister, her expressions were all over the place. It was like she couldn't decide if she had to cry or laugh or do both!
Another disappointment was Omkara. Tell me how is it that a man, who otherwise has senses that are perpetually on high alert, seems to chop off his brains and then scatter to the winds. This was the fourth time that he met the same woman and he didn't feel anything? Not even a tiny scream in his conscious? Any normal person by now would be weighing the situation and would have begun dissecting whatever details came his way. This woman didn't meet him at public places that he can dismiss it all as sheer coincidence. She met him in his gallery, his art studio and now in his work place...he feels no alarms ringing or any cold sweat breaking over? Any person in his place would now be looking at her with the eyes of the Devil that cannot trust. And Om is standing there without even letting his queries come over? Come on man, this woman gave you her mom's aakhrii nishaani just because. If this doesn't make you suspect her then I don't know what will. Please Shivaay do something on this front, your brother is willingly giving someone an opportunity to break him...my hopes now rest on you.
And who writes such cheesy lines as kismet mein hua toh hum dobaara milenge and the crap? Fire those writers as well.š”
And then Ruddy boy. I can't believe the guy actually went to college. Like seriously...him and college was like putting two antagonistic factors together and expecting them to work out somehow. And yes, ye college hai ya nautanki club? What was all that jazz in there? Uff man these chaar sher and their fervent renditions of a college. Mr. Johar and Mrs. Khan probably have never been to college so they add this high-end drama into our education system.š¤Ŗ
To impress Mohi/Mohini or whatever she was, Rudra decides to bare his torso for apparently Salman syndrome works with girl impressing. Again who gave this idea? In today's time if someone does that the possible reaction from a girl would be "Ye hulkut mere saath badtameezii kar raha hai maaro saaley ko." I am shaking my heads makers.š¤Ŗ
But I've gotta admit that sequence was damn funny and Jessi you got what you wanted to see. Ruddy ripped his shirt off for ya! AND SOUMYA IS BACK!!!! š„³ Haye kitnii minnatein ki hain to have her back. Uparwaaley ne humari finally sunn li.
My ray of sunshine is back and I am forgiving the writers for all non-sense that they presented us with last night.ā¤ļø
Precap: Just previously I had been happily singing that Shivika have slowed down, and now we're shoved in an overcrowded compartment of Rajdhani. Main apna muh kholtii hi kyun hoon?
And did you notice that Shivaay said he is unable to express his emotions. Hadn't I analysed the same previously? My professors if you are indeed reading this then see, I am improving. You guys won't have to pound me anymore.š
P.S. The couplets by Om were again beautiful. Aasmaan se kaha humnien chitthi mein, apne sitaare tu hi rakh,...khush hain hum iss mitti mein.
P.P.S. Om doesn't change his outfits or what. A day passed and he was still in his white shirt and above-ankle-pants? I do understand that artists usually aren't bothered about their looks but it is kind of unhygienic to remain clothed in unwashed outfits.
P.P.P.S. That Mohi/Mohini or whosoever she is, isn't she the one from Kaisi Ye Yariyaan? The girl was so irritating in there; I sincerely hope she has a hasty exit from here.
P.P.P.P.S. Don't rush with Rumya. Let them be best of friends first. Such close friends that everyone including Om and Shivaay mistake them for a couple when they are not. Let love blossom between the two slowly. Friendship is more beautiful than the red of love.
