These are just characters in a show. Not real people. I think viewers sometimes forget that.
Writers have the responsibility to portray things accurately so that the viewers don't get wrong misconceptions.

I was a little annoyed seeing Akshara in White gown. Here in western world it is absolutely unfair for anyone to compete with bride on her wedding day. In India, it is the same too... All along when Akshara makeup and dressing was wayyy better than others, I always wondered the same. But today, it was too much

Who in the world comes to a wedding of nephew in a church and wears a white gown like the bride?? pleaseee?

Also on another note... Akshara's make up especially her eyebrows in the beginning part of Sundays episode were a little overdone...😆😆

Just my opinion ... no bashing please

I agree with every word you're saying. I said the same thing WTH? She is dressing like the teens now a days. Where she suppose to play mother of son in his twenties and teenage daughter.

Correct me if I am wrong. I know indian brides dress as newlywed at least one year.
When they attend an indian wedding of someone else they get quite dressed up too.
I have seen indian newlywed brides wear their wedding lengha or sari as it is acceptable.
But in a church wedding it is not acceptable to wear your wedding clothes to another persons wedding.

The colors have different meanings in different cultures too.
Catholics wear white on their wedding and black at a funeral.
Indians wear red(or different shades of it in northern india) on their weddings and the guests wear colorful clothes. Indians wear black as formal wear but white is for funerals.

Of course you dress beautifully for a marriage but you don't dress as a bride. The wedding lehanga is worn for karwa chauth. Wedding is special for the bride and it is not expected that someone tries to compete with her and Wear the same dress, remember monster in law mivie

I’m happy they are still there. Reminds me of Akshara and Naira old vibes. Arman and his daughter
