Why cant they accept that the adult movie content audience is shrinking. The leak and all is just an excuse. It might affect some %age of business but not to large extent. Had Sultan leaked online, would it affect it so much? NO, it would still do the same. A movie runs by its entertainment value.

Damn. I feel bad for her. Piracy is the worst thing that can happen before the release of the film. So many people put in their efforts and piracy ruins everything. It's just too sad. I hope she finds more opportunities.

N why are people blaming Alia and shahid here? They as a team fought hard. From Alia to shahid to the producers. And obviously this industry is a shrewd place so the support for Alia and shahid was obvious. And also because of the censor board issue, the whole of BW was unanimously in support of UP.

And like someone mentioned, I don't think the actors in the masti film themselves made any effort to talk to their fans to stop watching the pirated version of the film. Why blame others in this case.

Anyway, piracy is a serious issue. I hope we find a solution to this menace.

I saw the movie, and it is better than Grand Masti.
Although still silly but there are moments which genuinely tickle the funny bone.

This piracy stuff is really bad, people work so hard and to see this kind of outcome is really bad.
Also poor Urvashi, she is trying really hard, hope she gets away from the bad influences and finds a good platform.

This is sooo cheap... I feel really bad for the team anyways Karma will sure get back to those!

Piracy was, is and will be one of the biggest nightmares for any Film, regardless of the genre. However I believe as compared to Udta Punjab, the main difference is the genre and star value. I really feel bad for the film, as we had two bad sex comedies this year, Kya look hai hum 3, which brought down the whole status of the franchise which was not a bad one. And Mastizaade, which I don't want to talk about. Masti was a good sex comedy franchise. While I liked the first part, the second part was awful. I did not have hopes for the third part but after seeing the trailer and songs(loved Resham ka Rumaal) was hopeful to see. And was not awful as the second but not good as the first. But alas Piracy. It is enough to ruin the hard work done by 100 people for 6 months.

As a newcomer, her first film not doing well must be sad. But many times for female leads, it is a good sign. Kareena Kapoor and Amisha Patel are examples. Rani Mukherjee has famously said, when her first film did not do well, she was very happy.

Piracy indeed is a bad thing. But I am unsure, how much it would really make a dent on connection.

If I have decided to watch a movie on screen, even if pirated copy exists, I would prefer to watch it on screen.

If I have decided to download and watch a movie, even if the copy is not available, I will wait for the day when I can watch online rather than going to cinema hall.

There are some (most), where I do not watch them at all.

For GGM would have come in the third category.

GGM should compare its collections with the other movies of same genre without big names. Then only we can say, how much it has affected.

How does one choose which movie to go, which one to watch at home? It is based on the star, on the trailer, mostly on WOM.
