Gayu nairas dance battle

Star Plus' long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director's Kut) is going great with its interesting tracks keeping the viewers glued.

Now, the show will see a major entry, which will be a special cameo performance.

And the actress to get on board for the role will be seasoned performer, Kamalika Guha Thakurta.

Kamalika who worked wonders as Guru Maa in Colors' Naagin, will yet again play a Guru Maa here. However, in Yeh Rishta, the lady will be an acclaimed Kathak dancer with loads of experience.

The track ahead will see Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Gayu (Kanchi Singh) getting involved in a major dance battle. And both the girls will be trained under the Guru Maa, before they set foot to fight it out on the dance floor.

As per a source, "The channel and makers wanted to rope in an actress who is a good dancer for real. They were in talks with Sudha Chandran and Kamalika. Kamalika who is a prolific Kathak dancer has been roped in now for the crucial role."

When contacted, Kamalika who is presently wrapping up her shoot for Sasural Simar Ka told us, "Well, they have talked to me about it. But there is no confirmation as yet."

We buzzed Producer Rajan Shahi for a comment, but could not get through to him.

As we know, both the girls Naira and Gayu have fallen for the same man Karthik (Mohsin Khan). And this dance face-off between them will surely provide ripples...

Hope so iss battle mein naira jeete and why gayu is participating when she is doing bussiness and is a jewellery designer. Dance is nairas passion than why gayu.

Why is gayu participating? Because she wants to impress Karthik? Woh jewellery designer th, some go tell her Karthik doesn't like to see dances he only likes seeing Naira dancing and not only dancing, sleeping, eating, laughing. He likes seeing Naira all the time except seeing her crying.
I think instead of Naira winning I would want to see gayu winning and Karthik comforting Naira instead of congratulating gayu. Or maybe gayu trying to mess up Naira dance and Karthik noticing, though Naira wins in the end but Karthik remains conscious

I just hope koi hint le that knowing that dance is Naira's passion somebody questions gayu why is she coming in between or will they ignore it like they ignored gayu forcing herself between Kaira dance.
