Ch 32 : A Birthday To Remember
As the clock struck 12, she was pulled in a bone crushing hug by both the boys. She felt them squeezing her.
"Breathe! You guys are squeezing me-" Taani squealed and breathed sigh of relief when they loosen their grip.
"Happy birthday!" Rey & Ronak wished her together. They broke the hug and passed cheeky grins to her which made her smile too. She was surprised too see excitement and enthusiasm in Rey.
Rey went and brought cake from fridge they had in their hotel suite.
"Lets cut the cake." Rey said to her as he placed the cake on the bed and lit up the candles. Ronak got hold of his sister's hand and brought her toward the bed. Rey picked up the tray before her and handed her the knife with a killer smile playing on his lips which made her heart skipped a beat.
His smile never fails to make her smile.
"Make a wish, di." Ronak said to his sister. Taani nodded, she closed her eyes to make a wish. Rey smiled as he watched her, a childlike smile was playing on her lips and face was glowing in happiness. It was a sight to behold.
Taani opened her eyes and look at both of them with a cheeky grin plastered on her face.
"Cut the cake." Rey gestured her through his eyes. She blew the candles and cut the cake while the boys sing happy birthday for her.
Rey & Ronak expected her to feed them but she cut one piece and ate it herself, surprising both the boys.
"Um! Yummy! Who ordered this cake? It was so yummy-" Taani moaned as she ate some more of the cake.
"Di, you were supposed to feed us first-" Ronak told his sister. Taani bite her lower lip and look at them with sheepish grin.
"But the cake was looking so tempting. I couldn't resist." Taani replied. She cut another piece of cake,Taani broke the cake piece into two and fed both of them.
"Happy? Now let me have my cake." Taani mumbled, she took the tray from rey and settled on bed comfortably.
"Why do i have a feeling that chocolates and cakes are going to play main villain in my love story." Rey leaned toward ronak and spoke in hushed tone.
"Because they are going to. Di doesn't care about anyone when her favorite sweets are before her. But in a way, its a good thing." Ronak replied in same tone as his, so that taani wouldn't hear them.
"Good thing? I didn't understand that-" Rey gave a confused look to him.
"Offcourse, it is a good thing. You don't have to buy her any expensive gifts, just give her favorite candies and chocolates to her and she will be happiest person. And by any chance if she get angry with you, then also it will help. It help in my case." Ronak explained him. Rey laughed at his explanation but agreed with him.
"Taani, don't you want your gifts we have brought?" Rey turned to her and asked her.
"Later." Taani muttered without even looking at him, she was busy in eating the cake. The cream was smudged on her face but she was unaware of it.
"Want some cake?" Ronak turned to Rey and smirked evilly, Rey smirked as he nodded his head positively in response.
Then they both jumped on the bed and attacked the cake which starlet taani and she tried saving the cake from them but failed miserably.
"You guys are so bad!" Taani pouted.
"Sharing is caring, princess. And this sad face doesn't suit you, so smile." Rey said to her. Her heart skipped a beat every time he call her princess. That nickname never felt so special before.
"What do you guys have planned for tomorrow? And don't you dare to deny because i know you have plans for tomorrow in your evil minds." Taani asked them, giving them threat filled glares to deny her.
"How about we keep it surprise?" Ronak raised his one eye brow at her, questioningly.
"No. I hate surprises so tell me now." Taani demanded.
"No! You like them. So now don't be a baby and go to sleep. We have a long day tomorrow." Ronak said to her as he kissed her head. Taani pouted in annoyance. She got down from the bed and went in washroom to wash her hands.
"Do you think she will be happy with the things we have planned for her?" Rey turned to ronak and asked him.
"She will. Di is easy to please, she doesn't like fancy things and trust me, whatever we have planned, she is gonna love it." Ronak assured him with a smile. Rey returned the smile. He couldn't wait for tomorrow night, when he will confess his love to her and propose her to be his.
