| Concept & Story | | Maanya is 18 years old… An effervescent, energetic, fun-filled girl, but beneath the surface carries a depth that makes her very grounded and focused. She has grown up with simple dreams… while at the moment she's just immersed herself in what her biggest passion is – dance. Maanya's father was a police officer and had died on duty when Maanya was a very young child. Maanya's grandfather, Havaldar Vaidji is a man who has withdrawn from the outside world after the death of his only son because when his son died, with him died Havaldar Vaidji's dreams and desire to live. Her mother pines to see Maanya as a soft and demure girl and she wants her daughter to pursue her passion for dance but destiny has something else in store for Maanya… She sees a spark in her grandfather's eyes for the fist time in eighteen years, when she comes dressed as a police inspector for a college play.
