Chapter 3- The Brother Love and Friendly Love
Rahul looked through the photos in his mobile. There were many photos of him and Neha. So many selfies. But it has been close to 3 or 4 months since he has taken any photos with her. He simply couldn't understand why Neha will feel uncomfortable with him. Obviously the problem was Aakash, he wants more time with her so he wants to alienate Neha from him. So he and Asha would have conspired to make Neha feel he is doing to much for her.
Otherwise what was wrong with what he was doing. Neha was his sister. What is the problem everyday evening he took her to juice shop or the eatery near college. What is the problem if every week he gave her gifts in the form of cards and soft toys. What is the problem if he daily send her poetries entirely dedicated to her. Why wouldn't a sister feel happy being pampered like this. Afterall his Reshma had loved all this. Then why wont Neha. Aakash was simply jealous
And if that is not enough Aakash had to poke his head into his and Priya's relation. He is telling the college is talking that they are gf-bf. Really if he sits near Priya during tour, if he dedicates a song for her, talks to her mostly during train journeys does that becomes love. If that is the case Aakash should be two timing. He roams with Neha in the college and in the train he is more or less always with Asha.
The problem with Aakash is his ego. His superiority complex. Else would he have told it during exams. He intentionally wanted to undermine. Show him as a poor performer in academics also. Let Neha roam with Aakash. She will understand what kind of a jerk Aakash is. Then he will see how much her brother cares for her. She will understand how much Asha have brainwashed her towards Aakash.
He had seen her pushing away Asha and Aakash to a different boat when they were in Hoganaikal for their 3rd year tour. It is just the beginning. She will move away from them if he stays aloof. He moved to bed and pulled the blanket
Priyanka came out of the bathroom. She had the night bath absent mindedly. If only she had not listened to Rahul's side of story alone and had decided to talk to Asha or Neha early. She had believed Aakash was spreading gossips, till during one of their journeys Asha explained to her Aakash or Asha or Neha were not spreading gossips. They were just trying to protect her and Rahul from gossips, which was going around in college. They said Rahul's behavior with her is making people talk all sort of non sense and they had taken great pains during 3rd year to ensure it doesn't come out openly. She had to admit also. Asha had many times purposefully shared seat with Rahul. She had chided Rahul wont he dedicate a song to her. Neha had dragged away Rahul during boat ride leaving Priyanka with Asha. They had covered up. And now to ensure Rahul opens up to them, especially to Aakash was her task. And she found it very hard. Because Rahul was too sensitive and any topic that touches him emotionally his eyes will get teary. Like Asha even she didn't know how to talk to sensitive guys. Anyways tomorrow she and Asha will plan something. She switched on the fan and dried her hair
