Krushna gets a standing ovation!

Krushna Abhishek, one half of jodi no 8, performed on Khaike Paan Banaraswala from the film Don in the solo round on Friday night. He received the highest marks and good compliments which included a standing ovation from the judges which happened for the first time in this season of Nach Baliye.

Nitin, the couple's choreographer, said "We had given him an Indian song and steps to match. He catches the steps so quickly. For me he is the best and I was not at all tensed for his performance," said Nitin.

Speaking on his performance Krushna says "I knew that everyone was going to ask me this question that why I have chosen this song which is my style... But we did do Indian dance in some initial episodes. Judges told us that it is becoming repetitive so we did a flamenco dance, hip-hop and all. But this time I thought why not try my style only! I am happy that judges liked it a lot and gave me standing ovation. Their encouragement always boosts us a lot," says Krushna.

Vaibhavi told Krushna that 'Now you know why you were the winner of Aaja Nachle contest and why Madhuri gave you the Natraj statue. You are the one deserved it the most.'

David and Ishaa were also impressed with his performance and David told him that 'Now you have proved that Govinda is your mama.'
