Of course he's going over the top in his revenge. Hopefully he'll regret it soon.
Not justifying him...but he doesn't know anything about Sahil...that he's differently abled...that Anika isn't his biological sister.. or that his bua is a terrible person. Even in today's episode he didn't care to know the case details.
I am sure when he comes to know everything he'll empathise with her because he's an elder brother himself and cares deeply for Rudra and Omkara just like she does for Sahil. That'll be the first point of understanding between them I guess...and the cooking of course.
