Nice interview. N I agree with what she said about aarfa's character. It was a choice that she made. No one forced her into it. And she was never shown as an abla naari. So much hoopla over nothing. And she does get back to wrestling in the end. So I don't understand how and why it's being called regressive. Don't we all in some way or the other make some compromises in order to balance our professional and personal life. And Anushka nailed the role of aarfa. I hope I don't get killed but she was miles better than Salman in some emotional scenes.

An looks like she's not going to even utter anything about her relationship with Virat. Poor her. Anyway I hope the trolling stops for good.

Liked the way she appreciated Deepika and Priyanka for their stint in HW. She seemed really genuine in her appreciation.

She has an interesting line up- ADHM, phillauri and imtiaz's next.

I liked the interview. A lot of things were already said in the Anupama one.

I think Anu defended well herself when talking about Arpha. It wasn't a regressive choice at all. She chose to keep her child (it's a child, for god damn sake) and give a chance to her love. Arpha seemed too head-strong at first but love soften her a bit and made her less selfish. She didn't stop dreaming big, she just postponed her dreams. The funny thing is that in the other hand, the male protagonist, Sultan was the one "punished" for being selfish. How regressive is that?

I believe Anu will be the only actress to get married and have a child and keep doing amazing projects through her production house (if directors and producers decide to desert her) without restraining herself.

The way she genuinely talked about how important a child is made her so human and not just a distant celebrity.

Can someone explain to me what she was saying about refusing Tamasha? I didn't get that part.

Lol, she kind of answered it and then went off on a tangent about how much she likes Imtiaz etc... so when Masand asked her if she regrets not doing Tamasha especially after how much praise Deepika got for it, Anushka replied that she still hasn't seen the film and she felt that she did not want to dedicate so much time to a film if it was not a big role / "glorious experience", which basically meant that she didn't like the role/script enough to put so much time/effort to it... which is fine really, it is a valid point considering Deepika's screen time in Tamasha. She also said that she had no doubt she would have got praised for Tamasha if she had done it, because Imtiaz is such a good director that he makes you understand the character etc.
