Thats why the Rani laxmibai project seems really iffy to me. Her diction drives me crazy ... and on top of that a period film ???

Same here. Kangana has lisp so she needs to train a lot to get rid of it. It's not easy. I have difficulty understanding Ranbir Kapoor too. He speaks so fast and gulps words. Like that dialogue in YJHD about marriage...I still don't get it.

Yes Yes Yes...finally I found someone who does not get that dialogue...I get it till daal chaawal but then its so indecipherable. I hear it as some "altitude till I die"😆

On Kangy, I don't watch her movies due to her speech. Find the same problem with Sridevi and Hema. Also disliked Sonam's style of speaking but its getting tolerable now.

Some people have the same issue with DP too.

I find her delivery natural and REAL. The best thing I like about her is the command over Hindi language. We need that in a TOP Hindi actress.

Yes, there were a few issues with modulation in Gangster days but that was also because she was raw, untrained then.

Her delivery has remarkably improved over the years. And she did well especially in the last 2-3 years. Watch the variation in delivery in Queen, Krishh, TWMR and Revolver Rani for instance.

She is a very engaging speaker in both languages, as proven several times off screen.

It's her voice i think, it's different from the usual what one expects from a Hindi film heroine. It's raw and has a unique inflection, probably hill (?) and she doesn't hv any hang ups about it...she doesn't try to change what she is..and maybe she shouldnt, it's her personality..it's not as irritating as Hemas heavy Southie accent. I think it lends to Kanganas unique ness as an artiste...which is good and bad. She doesn't fit some normal run of the mill heroine roles...

She just speaks in full flow...she is very confident of herself, that way.

As for command over english, she runs circles over those born with silver spoon and educated in convents and abroad.

Me 4 as well.

I just cannot watch her films.Her dialogue delivery sucks.
