You're kidding me right? It's fine to like someone but let's not lose perspective, lol. Varun is not an average actor, he was really good in Badlapur but personally I found him too irritating to watch in his other funny ones, but in no way is he a better actor than Veer loool. After D3 & ESP BM in particular, Veer has entered a league where he cannot be compared to the likes Dhawan, Sid M etc because it's not fair to them. They'll lag far behind. Neither is Dhawan a better dancer than Veer, Veer has a lot of grace & confidence while dancing that I didn't see in Dhawan when he trained extensively for ABCD2. Factor in his extremely annoying, trying-hard-very rehearsed-personality & it's a total buzzkill for me. He's considered a bankable actor btw, even within IF but till the time he reaches Veer's level, he can't be compared to him. It's like comparing ARK to Dhawan & that distance is shorter, lol. As for AdiC & SLB, they had to fight industry perception/mocking opinions because they believed in Veer's talent. SLB isn't the type to "spoon-feed" any actor, if that were the case he wouldn't have screamed & shouted at Veer's cousin Sonam, during her debut movie to the point where there are blinds till today about how he rues the day he decided to cast her in Saawariya.. It's because he completely believes in Ranveer that he allows her to get away with things that DP & most other stars don't, (DP's IV) but that's a personal equation.. If Veer fails to deliver or is anything less than a 150% dedicated to his performance/film see how that love vanishes. No-one hands you anything in BW on a platter, and definitely not SLB. Everything has a price. It's-high time people stopped shaming Veer for his wealth as if that answers every question.


And PLS. Dhawan is a legit hyper-active (onscreen) STAR-KID who grew up with a famous & very successful film producer father & well-connected director brother for whose wedding the entire film fraternity came out for so Dhawan was & is ever anything less than really rich, not Veer's fault he's probably richer.


Dhawan is definitely a good actor but I've only seen Badlapur & a few others but since he looks like the cousin of a particularly energetic chimpanzee, is an average dancer because he goes overboard with his "energy" onscreen & off it, is so unlikeable, always trying so hard to be liked but appearing dumb & a wannabe & urging his fans to troll other poor women on the net (Twitter) he's massively annoying & stupid.
