In a shocking incident, an aspiring 25-year-old model committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her flat. The deceased named Karamjeet Kaur was from Delhi and had flown down to Mumbai in search of work. Here, in Mumbai she was residing with her male friend and the duo were in a live-in relationship.

As per reports, during midnight on Wednesday, when Karamjeet's friend returned home, he found out that the door was locked from inside and even after repeated attempts when he could not get in, he realized that something was wrong.

He soon informed the police who reached the spot immediately. They later later discovered Karamjeet's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling fan.

Her body was then sent to Cooper Hospital for post mortem. Preliminary investigations are on and Police are questioning her male friend.

However, there is no confirmation about the alleged suicide and the reason behind it is still not known.

This is truly heartbreaking.

God the no of suicides cases r increasing!!Must be undergoing a lot of mental stress that she took such a drastic step!!

it is so sad how young girls come full of dreams and die by their own hands. RIP.

RIP. This happens more often than actually reported. Failed dreams, financial constraints, making difficult compromises and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel is oftenly the main culprit.

Depression is something that can be overcome by right set of friends and family. None of us should ever ignore any signs of withdrawls from our freinds and family without giving it a proper consideration..
