What were the Arora ladies thinking?

So the Arora ladies want to get Abhi's signature on divorce papers to protect Pragya. Did they trust Nikhil to let Pragya go after Abhi signs papers? Pragya can always come back and tell truths to Abhi. TaKhil will not take that risk and free Pragya.

They are mothers Tia. They think like a mother first. Then they'll see logic. But the Aroras are known for their emotional ott behavior, especially Sarla Maa. Hope Janki Maa will knock some sense into their heads.

Script is too stupid now. She figured out Nikhil is behind this. Why did Sarla ma who was kidnapped and almost died because of Nikhil go back to him alone? That started the divorce papers thing. Rs dadi is usually practical and she too is wasted. All the non-villains are shown as trouble starters.
