It was a very fine day in the Oberoi house.. A very very very fine day indeed. Or so Shivaay thought until thoughts of a certain dark-haired girl spoiled his version of 'A Perfect Day' and his version of a 'Perfect Day' was sitting in his balcony with a file in his hand and a cup of steaming morning coffee was trying to tempt him to have a taste of its brown delicacy. He groaned as a picture of that dark-haired girl jumping out of a box and pointing a slipper at him flashed through his head. He couldn't help but let a flickr of smile cross his smile as the Junior version of Jhansi Ki Rani spoke oh-so-proudly of her red slipper. How quiet it had been until that jumpy sequence happened. QUIET !!! Now that was strange. With a person like Rudra around, the house was bound to be loud but then how had it turned so quiet. Thoughts of the dark-haired girl swished away, Shivaay put his file down and coffee forgotten, he started the search for his younger brother. On the way, he passed his mother's room where she was trying on different pieces of jewellery while his aunt looked on and by the looks like it, Shivaay could read that she was cursing his mom inside her head. Not caring about it, he went ahead down to the dining hall that lead to the kitchen where he was met by a very sight. Wondering if he was dreaming, he went to the dining table where Rudra was seated and there were different kinds of parathas around him. Bewildered, Shivaay shook Rudra but to no use, Fearing the worst that his youngest brother had gone deaf, he shouted into his ears, "RUDRAAA !!!" Shocked was an understatement. Rudra fell off his chair that he was sitting on and fell to the floor with a THUDDD and an OWWW !! He got up with the help of a chair and rubbing his bum with his other free hand, he looked.. NO.. Glared at his brother.. But Shivaay only had a wide smile on his face.
Rudra : Bhaiiyaa !! Kya tha yeh ??
Shivaay hugged Rudra fiercefully.. Rudra thought for a second that his older brother had gone perfectly mad.. He broke free of the hug..
Shivaay : Tho tum bahra nahi ho iska matlab 😃
Rudra : Bakra.. Kya mei aapko bakra lagta hu ??
Shivaay : Bakra nahi bahra... Vo gaana suna hai.. Bahaara.. Bahaara.. from I Hate Love Stories...
Rudra : 😕 😕 😕 😕
Shivaay noticed the parathas around and asked..
Shivvay : Itne saare parathas ?? Kyu ??
Rudra : Vo... 😳 Mujhe parathas se pyaar ho gaya hai 😳
Shivaay : Kya ??? Parathas se pyaar ??? 😲 Ye koi ladki hai kya pyaar hone keliye
Rudra : Ladki se kuch kam tho nahi hai ye ☺️
Shivaay : Kya bola ??
Rudra pulled Shivaay along and they both sat with parathas surrounding them.. Rudra kept pointing to all the different parathas as he named them.
Rudra : This is Miss. Muli.. This is Miss. Alu. This is Miss. Palak. This is Miss. Makhan. This is Miss.Paneer..
Shivaay looked at his youngest brother with a bewildered look in his eyes..
Shivaay : Umm.. Rudra.. Ye female hai, ye tumhe kaise pata ?
Rudra : Bhaiyyaa.. Its so simple. Hindi me purushling hamesha AA se end hota hai. There are a few exceptions and parathas are one of them ☺️
Now Shivaay was damn sure that his baby brother had gone mad 😭 He decided to call Dadi. He left Rudra to drool over the parathas and went to Dadi's room. He heard voices from inside.. YAY !! GO ROCK !! GO ROCK !!! GREAT MAA..YAY !!! YOU ARE THE BEST.. It was Bua's voice...Thinking that there was some kind of a rock that his Dadima was trying to move and angry that his Bua was letting her mother push a big rock, he pushed the door and rushed inside. But then he found no rock. The room was clean and neat. The TV was on and Shivaay noticed that his Dadi and Bua were watching WWE and it was a wrestling match between The Rock and The Undertaker 😃 Shivaay almost slipped down to the floor but then caught the couch to keep himself from falling. First, his baby brother had gone mad and now his Dadi and Bua just gave him the shock of his life by exposing themselves as WWE fans 😆 His mind wavered to all the things that he saw today. First, it was the dark-haired girl and her laal chappal, next it was his mother-aunt and their pirate quest for more jewellery, his baby brother and his love for parathas and now Dadi-Bua's obsessive love for WWE. Wasn't there anyone sane in this house ?? Speaking of sane, he remembered Omkara. Om !! He hadn't seen him since morning. Where was he !!! The worst idea formed in his head. What if his other brother was a Game Of Thrones fan ?? Or what is he was watching Fifty Shades Of Grey. Well, people don't normally make noises while watching movies like THAT. Om normally wasn't loud but atleast he was loud enough to drop a Good Morning message to the family. Shivaay was now infinity percent sure that his brother was watching Fifty Shades Of Grey 😆 By that time, Dadi and Bua were there and helped him to the couch. There was a sound and the channel changed. He had sat on the remote. It was a news channel where a man with a pointed mustache was shouting ATTENTION !! ATTENTION !! ATTENTION !! ISS BAAT PE DIJIYA KHAAS ATTENTION !!! There has been a kidnapping. Apparantly, Gul Khan ki new offering Ishqbaaz ki Oberoi Mansion se kidnap hua hai. Kidnap hua banda ka naam hai Omkaara Oberoi.. A picture of Om is shown.
Reporter : Gor se dekhiye iss chehre ko ?? Iska hii kidnap hua hai. Abhi abhi udti udti pankhiyo se khabar aayi hai kii iska kidnapping ek nahi do nahi theen hai, palki a group of 80 ladkiyan se kidnap kia hai. Aisa kya hai iss chehre me kii itne saare ladkiyaaan ne kidnap kia isko !!! Kya ye baal, kya ye aankhein, kya ye hont ya ye smile.. Aisa kya hai !!! Ab keliye itna hii.. It was hustle-bustle as the landline rang somewhere which made Shivaay break out of his trance. The least thing he wanted was to get a phone call after news of his brother's kidnap came. He rushed down taking two steps at a time where Rudra was rushing also. He stopped Shivaay from picking up the phone..
Rudra : Bhaiiya.. Phone mat uthaiye
Shivaay : Kyu nahi ??
Rudra : Kyunki kidnapper ko pata hai ki aap sabse vulnerable ho. Advantage le sakta hai.
Shivaay : Me kya ladki dikhti hu ki mera advantage le le vo.
Rudra : Bhaiyya.. Jo kidnapper hai, vo ladki hai. Aur aap ladka ho. Tho advantage le sakte hai.
Shivaay : Rudra. Phone uthaane do mujhe.
Rudra : Ruk jaaiye Bhaiyya.. Speaker pe lagaate hai.
Voice : Hello.. Oberoi Masnion ?
Shivaay : Yes. What have you done to my brother ?? Return him back..
Voice : We are sorry.. We just called you to say that its time you choose a new brother for yourself. I have spoken to Gul Mam and she said that the auditions will take place soon.
Rudra : Haeinn !! But we want our brother back... We love him way too much.
Voice : I understand. But our love for ur brother is stronger and we are not gonna let our Krishna Kanhaiyya go away from us Gopis. Best try and accept ur new brother.
The kidnapper put down the phone and left Shivaay and Rudra to gape over what had just happened...
