Chapter - 1

Soumya was just coming out of the canteen after getting her paratha when she saw Rudra hugging his latest bimbo. In the three months she had been in this college she had seen him flirt with almost every other girl. She had seen him lie or as he said FLATTER them.

There was an occasion when she saw him buttering one of the junior lecturers. Once she saw him getting cosy with even the lab assistant. She had seen him simultaneously lie to two girls about not liking the other. Apart from her. the only other girls who were not disillusioned by his charm were Anika Di of the Canteen and his sister Priyanka.

Soumya loved both of them and hung out with them in the canteen most of the time. For her, Anika Di had become an important part of her life when she saved her from ragging the first day at college. From then on nobody messed with her. She loved Anika Di because she was someone who inspired her. She was strong, independent and gave her yummy food whenever she visited the canteen.

Priyanka was a sweetheart as she was really shy and sensitive. Priyanka and she had a lot in common, as a result of which they were best friends who hung out together.

If it not for the initial hurt she felt at Rudra's rejection, she had no other issues at all for her time at the college. Over the three months, her Marathi has improved. She took music classes. She still performed for patients in the hospital her mother worked, especially at the children's ward. She had enough self-respect to ignore Rudra's indifference.

She hardly met him for he frequented the College Gym, the football ground or the parking lot. She was always in the music room or the gardens. The only time she met him was when he is the canteen. He also shared a good bond with Anika Di. They always talked about a Bakkad Billa whom she had no idea about.

She also never had an opportunity to witness the vulnerable Rudra again in College. He was the Confident Casanova in college. She thought that was something that none of his bimbos ever knew existed.

She settled with her bag under one of the trees, her earphones in place munching on her delicious paratha, when she was startled by a hand on her shoulder.

She ripped her earphones out and turned around to see Rudra grinning at her.

"Hi Angel. Arre Yaar. How many days had I had to wait to find you alone?", he said.

Soumya did not show her delight in finally having to have a conversation with Rudra or the fact that he called her Angel. Instead she looked around to see that her spot was not visible as a result of bushes around.

"Why? Why alone?", she asked him.

Rudra looked confused. He continued as though she had not asked anything.

"So how do you like our college? Are you having fun? By the way Angel, I do not know your name at all.", he continued grinning impishly at her.

Soumya got up, taking her bag with her and left for the canteen leaving Rudra visibly confused.
