Permission

Hello Everyone!

I am an absolute silent reader but ardently follow all posts, analysis and comments. Love the simplicity of this show and Devakshi of course.
After watching today's episode, among many other things I loved one specific scene and just had to share. It was beautiful. (Of course among others 😊 )

Outside Neha's room when Dev pulls Sona to thank her and praise her for how she convinced Neha, he comes close ... full of love. Sonakshi feels he is going to kiss and closes her eyes and Dev looks at her with love. He says 'thank you'. This was a different thank you than what he said earlier (for helping Neha)...

This 'thank you' was for the Permission Sona gave him to be intimate... To kiss. The gesture of her closing her eyes was acceptance and Dev thanked her for the permission granted...

It was beautiful...

Further the gajra bedroom scene just showcased their comfort level & Dev would have definitely kissed... if not for GKB!!!!

Their earlier time in the bedroom with Sona in Dev's gifted saree was their first and there was the expected shyness, exhilaration, anxiety and million emotions but the touch was hesitant...
Now Sona gave him permission & Dev was taking the next step...

On Indian television, it's a rarity to find such simplicity so I just had to share what touched me today...

Awww man I had been wondering why Sona closed her eyes and Dev stepped forward and said a thank u again after pausing for a few secs looking at her... U r right... I was not able to reach a conclusion but u r absolutely correct... He had paused looking at her and said a thank u again... Guess he saw she gave in when he came near... What an observation dear!!!! This serial is something else seriously... Makes me want to watch it again and again.

She's been hesitant every time he came close but now she was 'ready' (if that's the right word)...

And like Dev said... 'When I think I can't love u more, I fall in love deeper'...

very nice post...i like ur interpretation that he thanked her for her submission and her trust...

i saw that scene again...dev was getting close to her and stopped immediately after she closed her eyes...it was like he was testing her trust and once he got it he broke the moment by saying thank u...beautiful scene...

I also felt the same way the that thank u was not for helping neha but bc sona gave him permission to cross that line and gave dev all the rights on herself. simply Amazing 👏
