I would buy her same . Infact she only few days old , so I don't know her future choices now😊. I went to look for some toys for infants , but couldn't help myself looking other toys too😆

It was regarding the clothes girls chose to wear these days, and he said that to some extent girls do influenced by the dolls they play earlier on in their childhood. And he showed some of the dolls and I totally do c your point. To some extent I got convinced with his point as well. Anyway, if you find the time do try to catch that particular episode.

hmm......it seems great mind think alike 😆 just kidding..

Do they have any re-run of episodes? I dont' follow that program so dont' have any idea about it 😕

Dewey, It is best to know what interests the kid and also which kind of toys are welcomed by kid's parents. Some parents dislike toy guns, skinny dolls and such stuff so that would be awkward. Most of the times people who are close to us know our choices and also kids's so it is easier. Since it is your niece, you can ask her and if she is just 3 or 4 then also consult her parents. Activity / puzzle games and toys are a safest bet also keep a gift receipt😃, if you are doubtful.

BTW if the concerned family is in a big city then get tickets to your niece's favorite characters like Dora/Barney/Disney etc shows or any Children's shows. That would be liked by all.

Hmm toh you are window shopping in kids store these days...kididn...
My nieces are big time into Spongebob (am sorry) but I dislike that character and should be PG15 atleast, another one is Dora... younger niece toh thinks she is Dora lolsssss They are under strict vigil these days, I guess its the age and will outgrow...havn't seen a 20 year old dressed as Dora.

Coming to the point - Well all I can say is yes kiddos get influenced by toys/cartoons, guess not in absolute wrong way though.

BTW thank God dolls are in thing for girls and not boyz 😆 that might bump up the concern here ...

I would suggest gift cards, let the parents take the hassel lolsss orelse just save in thier educational fund a/c.

I would like to know your opinion about such toys. Do you think toys affect a child's attitude in real life or it doesn't matter as long as parenting is in right direction.

Yes it definitely affects a childs attitude. I babysat one of our neighbours kid. His parents gave him a toy gun to play with. But this kid started to get violent and every time he got mad he would point the gun at someone and say he is going to shoot the person. I saw the anger on his face and it was really scary to see a six year old behave that way.
