i came here after a long time and came across this post.
first of all u av written ur povs very well. But I disagree with a lot of points.

I was not a regular viewer of udaan but watever I had seen in the show I always imagined a love triangle between chatvaan. suraj was out of the picture. He was supposedly a villain who will ruin chakor's life and will take forward kamal naryan's legacy. But i think i expected too much from udaan cvs. I should av known that its an indian show and it won't be completed without the much needed sugar n spices of love-hate and saas bahu.

Secondly ur analysis of suraj's troubled childhood is fair enough. But it never appeared the way u av described it. they always showed suraj as a brat. he used to disrespect everyone and had a huge support, love and care from his parents. If u are pointing the 10 years that he had spent after kn-ranjana marriage then that wasn't shown either. So I refuse to believe that suraj could have been a good guy if given proper guidance. Having said that yes redemption is possible. People change but people like suraj, kn, ranju, teju they never change. But after this marriage drama i am sure suraj will redeem. He has to bcoz that's the way the love-hate saga and saas-bahu drama can continue.

Coming to vivaan. thorough out the post u av described hw suraj had troubled childhood but conveniently ignored vivaan's troubled childhood. vivaan had 10 times more suffering than suraj. the poor guy had no one to talk to or share his pain. Suraj chose to follow his father and decided to bully and rule others where as vivaan being emotional took a step back and the drugs did the rest of the work of making him vulnerable. I too sometimes feel that he has trust issues but seeing his past its obvious. All the characters be it imli, chakor, suraj, vivaan or aditya they all had to suffer a lot in their childhood but only suraj and imli went to the wrong path. Isn't that a sign of weakness?

according to me the weakest character in udaan is of suraj. he may be the strongest physically but his character is the weakest of the lot. he loves no one apart from himself. he is hungry for power and money. Y will anyone do that. It is only when they av no strength of their own. He in no sense is the lone wolf. I am sorry if it offends any of the vj fans.

Udaan is over for me. I av stopped watching the show and have no plans to watch the show again ever. This show has set a benchmark of new lows in my opinion. even the shows wid the most stupid story lines av never done something like this. From here the show have two ways to go. Either it will become super hit in trps and will continue the trend of brainless dramas on indian tv or it will die its slow death and will eventually shut shop.

P.S. Even though its a fiction but logic is important everywhere. Otherwise we should start appreciating sns, ssk, yrkkh and many other shows with no logic at all.

iam commimg to ur points &have to show underline yes suraj ,chakor imli,vivan&aditiya they had suffered more ..&suraj and imli went to the wrong pathu agree this point because from childhood suraj has effected by spoil brat pre leap kn insulted manytimes suraj and ignored him but teju only consoled him afterthat kn married ranju infront of him from child hood mother still alive ..so which son will accept this illegal marriage?..because from childhood he looked so many thing in his life..thatswhy he kept love money and he tried to reach his father power..and money.untill because from childhood he had seen so many evil his life people did for money example ranju who has killed her own husband her self for money..and then kn married ranju. Ur telling reason vivan addicted druges for being emotional took a setap back..

But cv focuse two different interection about suraj &vivan

Suraj also from childhood he saw many evils his life .so he prefered money ..
Because he thought only if money have can do anything in thevworld on the situation time ..he aimed money &his father power

But vivan also addicted druged because he saw his life also many evils,betryal
First his father manohar died

Second is mother married elder father infront of him

So slowly he addicted drugs because he can't show power of father because father was not alive ..and he had decided lonely life so ranju used his life ..for fewdays..

Because iam comming to point suraj& vivan woul have gone good way if parent was good ..so they selected his life different way
Suraj had taken money for his father power.and vivan has taken drugs for lonely..

So after grown suraj charater changed strong person ..but vivan changed week
So as audience iam impressed to suraj character and his acting body expression..because he also has good heart when it will prove ?when he will get feel& realize his true love in his mind..so everone life has changes ..but u can't say cut the tonuguue and slept with imli ..because we can't say properly suraj had consumated with imli. ..becausr cv didn't show properly actually what happened.and truth.? so u all are as vivan fans u have given.many points on vivan'side to prove good man

vivaan is addicted to drug? it is teju who gave him drug without his knowledge for years. i think you watched from leap rt? so you must know that untill chakor tested the milk and shown him results he isnt aware of it. and honestly..just becz u r fan of character didnt make it essential to justify him. there goes the reel-real life difference which you guys says everywhere. a negatjve character never can be justified. kvb got biggestest fan base from his character viraj. but i habent seen much people justifying his character. but herr the character makes you give justification for his actions and character. so isnt it clear that reel characters do influence you in real life?
