Kyunki main lawyer hoon! Hassan Zaidi, who recently entered Kyunki as lawyer Aditya Rai Singhania, has a very crucial role to play in the serial. Mihir has got a death sentence in the Trupti murder case and Aditya will be fighting the case on his behalf. We spoke to Hassan to know more and his role. "My character is that of an extremely intelligent and confident person who is very business minded and doesn't believe in relationships. He has certain goals in his life but at the same time he is having a past which is linked to Nandini," Hassan reveals, who originally hails from Lucknow.

About his first day at shoot, Hassan tells us, "It was a nice experience. My first scene was with Karan Virani (Hiten) with whom I have worked earlier in Naam Gum Jayega."

Asked how he prepared for the character, he says, "I have seen a number of movies where the central character is playing a lawyer. I'm a great fan of Sunny Deol and for this role I have seen his Damini many times to get the lawyer diction right. On the personal front, many of my uncles are lawyers so I learnt something from them also."

Did you watch Kyunki earlier? "Not really but my family religiously watches it so they are happier than I am."

And have you met Ekta? "Not yet but I know she is the person who gives the green signal to every role. And it is under her guidance that every track takes shape."

Hassan earlier worked in Ek Ladki Anjani Si, Remix, Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai and some more serials.
