Also, she hardly discriminates or brainwashes her own children against Sumo...she in fact loves the bond of the siblings...And I feel...she is a good house maker and a good D-I-L too...for she nearly obeys Nanu everytime without much complains and that is something good when you have such eldely ppl in home...We normally hear so many wives fighting with their husbands to get sparated and all that crap stuff...So...For me...She is a good HUMAN...with her own shades...Atleast she never plots...Whatever she is, she is out in the open...

Yes, i appreciate her as a mother, a daughter-in-law and a homemaker. But she has demonstrated her not so likeable aspects too- for example, constantly harping on money and making Suman feel indebted to the family for raising her, reminding her about the loan constantly, etc,. Though she wasn't really shown as a mother figure for Suman all this while, I appreciate the fact that she isn't hard-hearted, and that there is much more to her than just being a greedy harpy.

Even in yesterday's episode she demonstrated her softness by asking Suman whether she could keep her clothes in the cupboard- seems like she was really shaken up by the prospect of losing her niece and hasn't gotten over her shock yet!
