I can't make myself believe that people are actually liking the disgusting, outrageous and atrocious things they are showing. I do not think the ratings increase is because of this.

I think whenever there is an outrageous nonsense, people naively start thinking that things can't go any lower from here and it has to be all good from now on. And they start watching from there on hoping that the exposure is now within reach and hence the raise in viewership.

The writers on the other hand think that audience actually like the garbage they are showing and show more of it when they see the raise in ratings. And hence this vicious cycle. Eventually something has to give i.e: the viewers will be so fed up to care anymore or there is nothing else left to show and then the show will crash😭. The characters are so ruined now, I can't think of how they can repair them.

I hope the writers and producers understand this fact soon enough and make a turn around to put on a good and wholesome show rather than playing with fire😡

This is my take on this and I am sticking to it.
