Does Viplav know DT is evil?

Was DT exposed in front of Viplav before the leap? I know Dhaani tried to make Viplav see the truth but he blamed her and threw Dhaani out. Why did Viplav come looking for Dhaani when he felt she was not a good daughter in law. A hero from other shows would only look for his wife/girlfriend after she was proven right. DT and KT were never exposed so how can Viplav forgive Dhaani? He came looking for after the ashram burned right? I am a little behind because I was in the hospital during the start of leap so please update me. I am now discharged and recovering at home. I am now watching after the leap. Hard to convince myself of the new Dhaani!
