"A walk here and some sprints there...Kalpana Jadhav is a busy lady. Busy...pacing back and forth of course" Sammy chuckled seeing Kalpi's state in front of him. His little joke earned him a swift glare from Kalpi. Stopping her nervous pacing and keeping her hands on hips, Kalpi focused on the much in love pair in front of her: Sammy and Sapna. Yes they were now officially together. Sammy had proposed to Sapna just two days ago and she had accepted. Both Raghav and Kalpi were ecstatic at this happy development.

"Sapna, tell your lover boy to not tease me in this situation. Otherwise, before Raghav, he'll be in trouble from me" Kalpi said. But her best friend was in the same mood as Sammy. Shaking her head Sapna retorted in amusement, "Oh C'mon Kalpi. Sammy is right, if you won' stop pacing. You'll faint even before arrival of Raghav Sir."

All three of them were in one of the hotels of Singhania Group; secure in a VIP suite for the time being as they waited for the party to start. It was a Sunday morning yet there was a party, a monthly recreation party of Singhania Group of Employees. This one was for all the senior officials, their assistants and partners who they brought with them to the party. Kalpi knew about this and just the night before Kalpi had got this idea. She got herself invited from Sammy since Raghav had made sure to keep her away from this too. But Kalpi knew she could very well attend the party, since she worked with Raghav and Sammy. of course she knew that he will disappear after the party, to a place she had no idea about. All she knew was that Raghav would leave the party midway, after one hour of attendance.

But where he was going to be, was a mystery to her. Sammy had co-operated and told Kalpi that maybe he will go to Singhania Mansion first to spend some time with Gauri. So if Kalpi wanted to plead her case with Raghav, or literally beg him she still had time.

But now going against the wishes of her love, Kalpi was here attending the party. She could only hope that she got the opportunity to somehow affect Raghav's pond of emotions. "But then, it has to be strong enough for him to actually react and not show himself like a stone" Kalpi wondered.

She turned to Sammy, "Sammy Sir. Do you think attending this party will work? I mean we have only a few hours left till tonight; and I hope that I'd not need to search for his whereabouts for that last chance?"

Sammy tried to soothe down Kalpi's worries, "Yes Kalpi. I know that whatever you have done till now, Raghav has not been unaffected by them. He cares for you too much to not get affected. He is just dumb sometimes and stubborn. But if anyone can make him break his walls, it is you Kalpi. His friend since childhood."

Sighing, Kalpi mumbled in worry, "Yeah you are right. But I am nervous. What if he becomes angry?"

"No he won't. He tries to show his stony side to all of us Kalpi. But when it comes to you, Raghav is like a soft jelly from inside. He can do anything but never hurt you or be upset with you for long. I'd say just go along with his mood and tease him" he winked. Kalpi blushed and dreamed about Raghav with a small smile on her lips, Yes he is; a soft jelly". Kalpi whispered and added, "My jelly."

"Aww someone is already possessive" Sapna cooed and Sammy chuckled. "Yes I am" Kalpi stated proudly before adding, "Maybe I can use this in the party."

Fire, this is what Raghav was feeling burning inside him. It was the fire of jealousy, possessiveness and clear rage. The woman in little black dress, with a deep back was killing him and fueling the intense emotions of anger and jealousy within him. The worst part according to him was, he could not do much. His past behavior of ignoring Kalpi had sort of bound him this time. "I cannot behave all friendly and talkative, possessive with her all of a sudden now can I" Raghav wondered helplessly as he watched Kalpi laughing with another one of his managers. She was interacting freely with all the men and they clearly enjoyed it, happy with attention of the enchanting beauty.

"I'll kill you Sammy" thinking so Raghav again sent one of his murderous glares Sammy's way who gulped visibly in fear. "I'll deal with him later. Right now I have to think something to take Kalpi away from the arms of that man and eyes of other men" Raghav decided in his mind, seeing that now Kalpi was dancing with one of her male friends from his office. His grip on the glass tightened, almost breaking it when Sammy took away the fragile thing. "Have mercy on that glass at least" Sammy commented, "Why you don't break your foul mood instead if breaking this glass?" he questioned Raghav.

"Shut up Sammy" Raghav fumed like a volcano, ready to erupt on his best friend who had somehow found the courage to be back in his teasing mode.

"Whoah, relax their Rags. I was just saying because...who knows in this party Kalpi might find her...future life-partner? After all, this is what you want right? Her Happy-future?" Sammy stated, being the only person with whom Raghav had shared the little details about his decision to break-up his and Kalpi's engagement after sometime.

"Sammy!" Raghav almost shouted amidst the loud music of the party before his face softened. For brief moments, the vulnerable state of his heart showed on Raghav's face and he questioned Sammy.

"She will be happy, won't she? She will found a good life partner right? Will she...will she forget me then? Or...do you think it is a mistake. Is there any chance Kalpi can be happy with...me?" Raghav almost murmured the last part but Sammy understood. His face reflected Kalpana's pain too. Keeping a hand on Raghav's shoulder, Sammy told his best friend what he knew now Raghav may be ready to listen and consider.

"I don't know Raghav...this question you have to ask from Kalpi. This is about her feelings, her life and her rights. We are no one to decide this on her behalf. Maybe yes she has a chance to be happy without you, I won't lie. But will that person know her the same way like you do? Will he take care of all her needs without her asking for them? Will he understand what's and whys of her emotions, her reactions? Most importantly Raghav, will he be her best friend and guide, like you are to her? You have to ask Kalpi about it Raghav. Otherwise, on her way to find love, who knows she may end up getting hurt or used. Who knows seeing her single, lusty men try to take more advantage of her?" Sammy replied and when Raghav looked at him questioningly, he signaled him to look Kalpi's way.

She was dancing with one of her new male friends, one whom she'd known since past two weeks only. But it was evident the man was trying to cross the boundary. His one hand was a bit too low on her hips and the other, almost quite high above. Raghav almost busted with anger and thought, "The nerves of the guy, They were still fiances in the eyes of world and he still behaved this way. What will happen when..." He could not bring himself to even think about it. His gaze went to Kalpi who had seemingly lost all the joy of being in a party and was trying to free herself from the man.

Raghav's jaws clenched and he strode determinedly towards the duo. He grabbed the man by his arms and slapped him hard just before Kalpi has stomped her high heeled stilettos on the man's foot.

Visibly so, his employee was shocked and hurt by this dual attack. But Raghav was not done, he had at last shown some emotion for Kalpana. Unaware of Kalpi's moist eyes which were stuck on her idol, her protector in, floating in immense gratefulness for him Raghav grabbed the man with his collar. "G.E.T. O.U.T. Get out before I kill you before serving you with termination notice!" He growled menacingly and possessively. "She is Raghav Singhania's fiancee and a girl first, who should be respected. Raghav Singhania does not tolerate pi** like you in his organization. GET OUT!" Raghav almost shouted out the last bit before shoving the man away.

He turned to Kalpana. Without another word he held her hand, dragging her out of the party with him and to where his car was parked. They both stood staring wordlessly at each other. Kalpi took strength from Raghav's presence and protection. Raghav took strength from Kalpi's happy and calming presence.

Kalpi's heart was almost out of her chest when thinking she needed it, Raghav took Kalpi in his arms. He hugged Kalpi, stroking her hair and softly placing a kiss on her head. Kalpi's voice was choked in her throat when she thought she'd heard an almost inaudible murmur above her, "Take care honeybee...for me."

After that Kalpi needed nothing else, no more assurance that Raghav will one day in fact melt. It was a seal on the unsaid fact between them that no matter what, her Raghav will always be her invisible angel. She needed no other option in her life; and even if she had, Kalpi was sure to replace every option with Raghav's name. After that it did not matter that after those brief moments of affection Raghav had refused to say any word to her. Even as he dropped Kalpi back home, he had refused to even look towards her; and his robotic demeanor was back. But all this did not matter now, because Kalpi knew Raghav was always hers alone; and she was now ready to use her last weapon to get her flower back.
