Hi. I am Tannu. I'm new to this forum. I decided to recreate this story because it also suits Raja and Rani. Who knows? This might happen in the future too (hope it does). Raja and Rani have established their careers. Now its high time for them to take one of the most important decisions of their life, what it is revealed through the course of this short story. Please don't forget to like, comment and criticize my work, I am open to creative discussion on my piece.

Raja arrived at Rani's house, entering through his secret entrance that he has memorized since childhood. Now or never, now or never.
He entered. Even though he had intimated the others of his plan and they had assured him it was okay, isn't this still just a little creepy? he asked himself. Sneaking into their house?
He stopped.
No, it isn't. It's not creepy at all, not when you're doing something like this for her. And anyways, you are her childhood friend. Its not like you are gonna actually steal something and leave. He laughed how he could as a prince visualize only grime sequences wherever he went. His intentions are absolutely decent. He thought back to himself, before continuing on his journey - to Rani's kitchen.
He cooked up her favourite food, the way he knew she liked them. Once he finished, he plated the food for two people, and covered it with tin foil. Smiling proudly at his work, he sat on the couch, awaiting her arrival.
She should be here any second now.
He could hardly contain his excitement.
But as time passed, his excitement deflated and she wasn't there yet. Checking his watch, he frowned. She must be stuck at work. But why is she being late today of all the days? She had no idea what surprise was waiting for her.
Somehow, he'd ended up lying down on the couch, drifting off.
Rani thought it was a little weird her door was unlocked, because she was pretty sure she locked it when she left for work. She was just going to check in, pick up what she needed and head off to Raja's palace.
She was quite a bit later than she had planned, but he didn't need to know that.
Then she saw him sleeping on the couch, and she shook him awake, unsure of what else she could do.
As soon as Raja awoke, he instinctively pulled out the ring, remembering what he originally came here to do.
To his surprise, she pulled out a ring, too.
"Yes, but, will you?" She said, an ear-splitting grin plastered on her face.
He smiled back at her, before saying in response, "Yes. I will marry you too."
