Hi all,

This is my first update. Thanks to IF members who gave me a chance to do this updates. Pls feel free to give comments, both positive and negative. It will help me to improve the way of my writing. Thanks in advance for patiently reading the update.

First part:
Location: SKPD's house.
Abirami and CP are talking.
Abi: Are u going to beleive if I tell you that ACD is the bridegroom?
CP is shocked to hear ACD's name.
CP: What, ACD?!!!!!
Abi: Do you know ACD?
CP: I have seen him once here.
Abi thinks to herself:( Now the time has come to reveal your true identity, CP.)
Abi to CP: Ok, now that you know who the mappillai is, you can start having sweet dreams about marriage. She leaves.

Next Scene: (Unnecessary boring part)
Location: Bar / Club.
The realtor who Shanthi sent to ask Abirami to sell her house is playing cards with his friends.
Vishnu enters the club and sits in the next table where a man called Ramki is sitting.
Ramki asks Vishnu: So, what is going on?
Vishnu with ericchal: Bus, Lorry, scooter, car are going. Ramki is irritated with this kadi reply.
(Ofcourse, the viwers too are irritated by this wasted scene).
Ramki says that he asked about vishnu's construction business and Vishnu replies that his question was not a straight one and the tone was full of jealousy.
Ramki walks away. (Wish we could, too)
Vishnu tries to make a phone call. Now get ready to watch the very popular scene in anandham.
(vere enna? eavesdropping scene thaan.)
The realtor drops the wrong card and loses the game. His friend says that realtor lost RS. 1000. Realtor says Rs 1000 is nothing. My vayiru is erinjing that I lost Rs50 lakhs in a house transaction. He tells them how RK's daughter-in-law Shanthi approached him to buy Abi's house in Ashok Nagar for her but Abi chased him away saying that she won't sell her house and give it only for someone with gratitude.
(Vishnu gets all excited on hearing this. kaadhai nalla theettikkiraar. :)
Realtor's friend consoles him saying that he did not lose anything from his investment but just missed a transaction. Vishnu leaves the place but our friend kandhu enters the scene. Vishnu asks him if he came there to collect his vaddi or loans. Kandhu tells Vishnu that he is broken and can use some money like Rs. 10000 from Vishnu. Vishnu also says that his financial condition is so bad that kandhu can lend him some money.
(ellaam pichaikaarngalaayittaangalaa?)
Kandhu asks Vishnu about his shopping complex project in Abi's house. Vishnu tells him that Shanthi spoiled the transaction and put Srini in jail.Now Shanthi is employing a realtor to buy abi's house.
Kandhu does a calculation that he can tell this matter to Abi and theththufy a lump sum of money.

Shanthi's house: (Very interesting Showdown between Priya and ACD)
Shanthi and Priya are filling the dining table with many dishes. Priya asks Shanthi who this feast is for. Shanthi tells her that she can find out for herself and it is a person close to the family and is a special VIP.
Ding dong. The door bell rings.
(Viewers would have correctly guessed who it is. None other than our dear ACD.)
Specially for ACD fans: ACD is dressed in a checked shirt(full sleeves) and nice pants. :)
Priya is wearing a not so great saree.

Priya gets all angry and shouts to Shanthi, "anni, your special VIP is here."
Shanthi is all smiles and welcomes ACD and asks him to sit down.
ACD feels the hostility from Priya and says, : It looks like I am unwelcome here.If you want, I will leave."
Shanthi immediatley says, "No, pls sit." She chides Priya to behave with the guest.
Shanthi: Priya, did you commit a mistake? Why you are running away?"
ACD is standing now and Priya says, "why should I run away? The person(ACD) who has committed the mistake is standing and not running away."
Priya teasingly says, "Now he is a periya idathu mappillai. How will he eat in our house.?"
Shanthi says to ACD to better come and eat or else what Priya said will become true.
Shanthi asks priya to serve food to ACD.
Shanthi sorugufies the towel in her hip like a waitress.
(hmm, enna style pa, idhu?)
ACD comes to the table and praises that it looks like a feast.
Priya with erichal tells him that this feast is to remind him not to forget to invite them to his marriage.
Shanthi chides Priya again and ACD says: "Let her talk. It looks like she is all ready to ponnu parthufy for me and arrange my wedding with a different girl."
Priya to Shanthi: mm..Why should I search for a bride when he has already found another bride for himself?"
Shanthi asks Priya to keep quiet and let him eat in peace. he then tells herself that she should not interfere in lovers's fight.
Priya says that this is no silly lover's fight but she is talking about a serious matter.
Priya: Let's not talk about old story.
ACD(to Shanthi): Ask her why it became a old story?
SPEECH OF THE DAY BY ACD:
"Wake up call in the early morning,
saying bye from road side, when going to office.
making silly calls every half an hour asking if he or she drank tea or coffee.
Standing in front of the office with a naughty smile.
Unnecessary SMS es.
talking for hours in the phone in the night till the repaid card runs out.

If doing all these silly things is considered to be pure love, then it is impossible for me to do all these silly things and my job won't let me do that."
ACD asks Priya not to suspect him and his love for her. His job requires him to meet lot of people and he need not give any explanations to Priya regarding that.
Priya says that she does not need any explanation from him.
Karadi shanthi is watching these 2 lovers fight.
At this point the next karadi CP calls ACD and tells about their marriage proposal and asks him what to do.
ACD replies that he has no choice other than marrying her and settling down because everyone is intent on getting him and her married.
CP tells ACD that Abi told her the proposal and ACD tells CP not to get tensed and he will take care of that.
Priya is so angry and tells anni that she told her ACD was a good man and now that he himself has accepted about his marriage with CP.So saying, she leaves the scene.
Shanthi asks ACD why he teased priya when he knows about her character.She leaves to pacify Priya asking ACD to eat alone.
(Shanthi, manners illaame guest ai ipdiya ambo nu vittup poradhu? Pls read in vadivelu's style: "ayyo ayyo.")

Next scene:
Kandhu meets Abi and pottu kuduthufies about Shanthi sending a realtor to buy abi's house. Abi is cool on hearing this and kandhu thinks to himself that he cannot use this matter to get some money from her.Abi asks him to do a job for him. He says he will do anything in his limits. Abi sarcastically says, "naan enna unnai sanjeevi malaiya kekkap poren? You enquire about CP and find out her real identity."
Kandhu says she is SKPD's daughter and she was doing road construction before finding SKPD.
Abi says she knows this and asks him to find more details and that she will pay him well for doing this.
Kandhu asks some advance money.
(but abi yaaru? paisaa peyaraadhu ava kitterundhu.)
Kandhu thinks he can get her house for doing the job and then immediately realises that it is an unlucky house and he can get a lump sum of money instead of the house and leaves.

Next Scene:
SKPD's House:
Harbour guest house watchman comes to see SKPD to collect 2 months salary.
SKPD tells him that heard that he is not in the guest house and is drinking always.
Watchman says that it s a lie and some people are trying to chase him away from the job.He tells about the foreigner's things in the guest house are still there.
SKPD asks which foreigner that is.
Watchman says: short, fat man without moustache.
Flashback of Joe killing murugan.
(Joe, too much overacting. periya hero nu ninaippu!)
SKPD takes the watchman in his car somewhere.

Next scene:
RK's House:
RK and Madhan are eating. Anitha is serving chapathi and kuruma. Madhan is all praises for Ani's cooking.
Abi enters and tells RK that she came to tell him a good news.
RK offers her food but she denies, seeing the nasty looks from Anitha and Madhan.
She tells RK about a dream she had about aththai. It was so real. When Abi came from her outing, she saw aththai sitting on her doorstep.Abi invited aththai inside but athai was so kind to abirami and asked for water. Aththai drank a sombu full of water. RK urugufies and madhan and anitha look like they don't believe this.
Freeze on RK's urugiya look.

Srini and ACD's comedy scene:

Abirami continues blabbering about her dream of aththai to RK uncle.
After aththai drank a whole sombu full of water, Abirami invited aththai inside the house. Aththai refused and said everyone is living in separate
houses. Once everyone comes to her house, aththai also would come inside. So, saying aththai's aavi vanished from that place.
RK urugufies saying that it is indeed a surprise that Raji didn't come in dear hubby's or loving children's dreams but she came only in Abi's dreams. Abi should have done lot of punniyam for raji to appear in her dream. Anitha interferes saying that dream is only an illusion and imagination but RK says that whatever is there in our subconscious minds will come as dreams. Just because Abirami has lot of love for aththai, she had this dream.
(RK uncle, unga poNNukku therinjadhu kooda umakku theriyalaiye. Does he mean to say that he or his kids have lesser paasam for Raji than abirami?)
Abirami invites mama and family to come and stay inher house so that aththai's aavi will also come and live with them. (Bhooth bangalow va?)
RK says he can't come because he gave the house to her and it belongs to her now. He goes to the verge of foolishness and says Abirami is welcome to live in RK's house any time if she wanted so. Anitha and Madhan exchange angry looks.

SKPD and the guest house watchman come to the guest house. One whole minute of the tour of the house for the viewers.
SKPD finds cigarette boxes and empty Alcohol bottles and asks the watchman if Joe was a drunkard. Watchman says that he never came to the room when Joe was there.
SKPD asks the watchman to throw all the junk away. Then he finds a suitcase of Joe. SKPD asks the watchman to go out and then opens the suitcase. He throws Joe's clothes aside. Tok.Tok. A voice recorder falls down from Joe's shirt. SKPD switches it on and listens to this message.
(Horrible Tamil accent. Foreign countries le irukkira tamilians ivlo mosamaa tamil kolai seyya maattaanga. )
"Hi. This is Niranjan and this is my real name. A man named Joe really exists and he has a network in many countries but no one has seen his face. So, I have come as Joe here."
SKPD recognises Joe's voice but he switches the recorder off.
(Yov, SKPD, full message ketrundhaa story seekiram mudinjirukkumille?)

Police station:
Srini is guarded by 2 policemen. ACD comes there. (Thangap padhakkam sivaji style midukku nadai.AS usual smartly dressed in uniform. Hope I made the ACD fans happy. :))
ACD asks Srini to come inside and asks him if he has asthma.
Srini: Why are you questioning me like a doctor?
ACD: If you have asthma, then Bangalore is not the right palce for you.
Srini: I am not a national criminal and why do you want to transfer me to other state jails?
ACD: The Lie detector is in B'lore. Do u know what it is?
Srini: I know what a LD is. I haven't hidden anything from you. I have told you that I forged Charu's signature as per the order of Sivaraman.
ACD: Did you blackmail Abi to transfer her house in your name?
Srini with asattu sirippu: I am 50% comedian and 50% villain. Abi is 500% villi and why would she give me her house if I blackmail her? I can get bail and go out.
ACD: You will be in jail forever. If you want to get bail, Public prosecutor wil raise index finger and raise objection and you can never go out. If you tell me the truth, I can help bail you out.
So saying, ACD folds and opens his index finger.
Srini: Pls stop moving the finger, sir. I told Abi that SKPD is her father and she was happy and decided to give me the house.
ACD starts folding the finger again and Srini accepts that he told her the truth about SKPD on the condition that she must give the house to her.
ACD: Don't open your mouth about this to anyone else.
ACD calls Inspector babu inside. ACD opens a folder. Srini comes very close to ACD and tries to peep in the folder. ACD's angry look and Srini's asattu look was funny. ACD asks Babu to take Srini back to the jail. He asks Srini to wait outside.
ACD instructs the inspector to tell PP not to oppose Srini's bail. Only if Srini is outside, SR will come out.
(ellaa baddies m veliyevaa? boologam thaangumaa?)

Shanthi's house:
Anitha and Shanthi are sitting in the sofa. Anitha looks around the house and asks why Shanthi is not ready to vacate the house. Shanthi is surprised and Anitha tells her about Abi's dream and abaara nadippu inviting them to come to her house. (Dialogues muted. Shanthi's over acting and Anitha's aavesa dialogues)
Shanthi gets angry and asks what mama said and Anitha says he didn't accept the invitation saying it is Abi's house.
Anitha: "While Arjun and you are fighting for the house, appa reconfirmed that it is Abi's house. I will watch the happenings and update you and then you can do something to set the matter right."
Shanthi says that she cannot imagine
(veetle madhan and karthik waste aa? ellaam shanthi thaan seyyanumaa? che. )

Next scene:
Srini gets bail and comes out. He peela vuttufies that no one has to come to receive the great srini and put maalai for him. At that time a car comes screeching so near Srini that he is startled. Vishnu comes out. Srini is angry with him for nearly running him over with his car. He also points out that he betrayed him when he was in prison.
Vishnu apologises to him and asks Srini to get inside the car.Vishnu calls Srini"Sir" and Srini asks him not to call him"sir" because he hears it as charu.
Srini asks if Vishnu is going to drive and says, "aandavaa, kaappaththu."

Next scene:
Koil mandapam.
Oththak kai is sitting. Eshwar's wife mistakes him to be a beggar and throws some coins to him. Oththak kai gets angry and starts a fight with her. She says that if her husband knew about this fight, he will kill oththak kai. Oththai kai asks who her hubby is. She says,"en purushan yaarunnu kettaa chinna kuzhandhaiyum sollum. he is SKPD's right hand Eshwar."
(yemmaa, unga husband enna super star a?)
Othak kai is shocked to hear Esh's name.
She challenges him to wait there. She meets a policeman near the temple entrance and he asks her what the problem is. Oththak kai sees this and freeze on his scared face.

Abirami vs Seenu:

Esh's wife to the police: Some oththai kai man is creating problem for me.
Police tells her that oththaik kaiyan is a wanted criminal and asks her to show where he is.
(anageye nikka othaikai enna kenaiyaa? back entrance vazhiyaa great escape. )
As usual, police kottai vittufies subbu.

Srini in Vishnu's car.
Vishnu: Sir ...
Srini: Yov, don't call me sir, mor. call me srini.
Vishnu: Abi's hosue is still waiting for us.
Srini: mm. Nobody came to help me when I needed them.
Now everyone will come forward to help if they get some benefit out of it.
Vishnu: If the law let me to substitute your place in jail, I would have gone to jail instead of you.
Srini with (konal vaay): aahaa, how many people have you kavuthufied with this dialogue?
vishnu: he he he.(asattu sirippu). Seenu, do you know something?
Srini: I don't know anything. All I know is a cup of rice, gravy and 5 /6 jail rods.
Vishnu: Seenu, when you were in jail, Shanthi sent a promoter to Abi to buy her house. But Abi refused to sell it and said she will give the house only for (someone with)gratitude. So, there is no doubt that the house is yours.
Vishnu: Now that we both have some free time on our hands, let's go now and talk about the house with abirami.
Seenu: How can you be so selfish in your thinking for 24 hrs a day?
vishnu: again hi hi hi..(indha Vishnuvukku periya kamal nu manasile ninaippu).
Seenu: I am coming from the jail just now. Abi's house won't go anywhere. I am so thirsty. Go to some bar. I need atleast 2 rounds of drinks.
Vishnu: Ok seenu. We'll go and have some raw drinks.
Seenu: Are u so stingy that you can't buy even soda?

SKPD is going up the stairs. He looks here and there stealthily and goes to his room and locks the door.
He listens to the voice recorder he took from Joe and listens to it.
"This is Niranjan speaking. This is my real name. There is a terrorist by the name Joe. He has a big network in many countries. No one has seen him and so I am impersonating Joe. I use his network and enjoy all the money from it. This is how I have come to SKPD through sivaraman. I like chennai very much. Nice people, beautiful place. Even the criminals are very friendly.
(SKPD with a smile approves of Niranjan speaking highly of chennai).
SKPD is a nice man. He has been very kind to me. I killed a man who came to kill SKPD. So, he likes me very much. When I was trying to save SKPD's life, Abirami saw me beating up a man. I think she got scared. I find Abirami to be attractive. So when I was with her in her car, I tried to impress her with my lovey dovey talks but she didn't encourage me. She was angry with me and she dropped me by the road side immediately. Inspite of the culture developments, Tamil women haven't changed. Anyway, the beginning of my trip to chennai is very intersting. But, I have one thing to get scared of. Joe is coming to chennai soon and this fear itself is a thrill to me. Joe is an international terrorist and he has killed lots of people all over the world. All the victims are VIPs from many nations. When he was trying to run away from Indonesia jail, inspite of bullet wound on his shoulder, he escaped. My death is in Joe's hands. He is the one who is going to kill me. Joe doesn't use the same phone number always. He uses different numbers. I am going to say the numbers which he often uses." He says some numbers.
SKPD writes them down. Then SKPD tries to call that number. None other than our samsung tv, sorry, Samson picks up the phone. SKPD switches on Niranjan's voice recorder and Samson listens to it.
Samson: hello, who's speaking?
SKPD: I am SKPD. You have to meet me at 10 pm today.
The details of where we are going to meet will reach u later.

Next scene:
Joe is waiting for SKPD. Music in the BG. aeee..ooooo..scary music. :)
namma SKPD car le vandhu iranguraar.
Both of them walk towards each other for half minute with the music in bg. (periya tamil movie villains pola)
Joe: Sankarapandiyan?
SKPD: mmm Sankarapandiyane thaan.
SKPD extends his hands for shaking but Joe puts a kumbidu.
SKPD: hahaha. Not bad. panpaadu... santhosham. Sivaraman came to me asking to help you in providing you a safe place to stay. But someone else used your name and already came to me. You killed that person without leaving any evidence. How did you thanni kaattufy to Tamilnadu police? Joe gives a side glance.
SKPD: hmm.. You must be knowing laws of many nations and must have faced police of several nations too.You would have played many tricks. But I am an ordinary gundusatti dhadha. unga munnaadi saadhaa. Before I saw you, I thought you might look like an ordinary villain of TN but you look like Hollywood hero.
(hello, SKPD, konjam eye test paNNittu vareengalaa? edho konjam tall aa irundhaa, udane hollywood hero va? kashtam da saami.)
I got the chance to meet you with the help of Niranjan's voice recorder.
Joe: What do you want now?
SKPD: I don't want anything now. SR gave me gold biscuits to give protection to you. Since I didn't give protection to you, SR is asking me to return the biscuits. Do u want me to return the biscuits to you?
(idhu enna coconut biscuits aa? gold biscuits avLo cheap aa poyiruchaa ungalukku?)
Joe: No. You can keep them.
SKPD: I wanted to see a generous man like you. So, I asked you to come here. I didn't want to blackmail you. I wanted to meet veera purushan like u. So, I came and I saw you. You can ask me any help if u need it.
joe: Give me the voice recorder.
SKPD: Sorry. I should have given it to you as soon as I came. But I forgot.
SKPD gives it to Joe. Joe listens to it again.
(innum eththnai thadavai indha tamil kolaiyai naanga kekkanum? yerkanave, idhu 4th time pa. )
Joe is happy and smiles. He extends his hands to SKPD to shake but namma SKPD puts a kumbidu.
Crazy music ye ye ye...in th BG.

Rohini is hiding her stomach with pallu. She calls Shanthi.
Rohini: Shanthi,this is Rohini.
Shanthi: mm, sollu Rohini.How r u? How is your kid?
Rohini: I called to tell you only about him. He is having a fever since yday.
Shanthi: Did u take him to doctor?
(Rohini, idhu kooda shanthi sonnaa thaan seyviyaa?)
Rohini: Doc has given medicines and injection. The kid misses his appa so much and has lots of yekkam.
Shanthi: enna solre nee? (eththanai thadavai sonnaa, ungalukku puriyunga shanthi?)
Rohini: he keeps on saying he wants to see daddy dear.I don't know what to do. That's why I called you.
(RK veetle yaarukkume sontha brain illiyaa? ellaam shanthi thaanaa? enna family? as juhi chawla says in kurkure ad)
I cannot talk to madhan. You have to tell madhan to come here to see my kid. Only you can do this, shanthi.
Shanthi: ok, you don't worry. I will talk to madhan and send him there. You take care of the kid. (kuzhandhaikku peyare illiyaa? I forgot the name. They don't show the kid at all)

Vishnu and seenu come to Abi's house.
Seenu asks Vishnu to stay putside becoz Abi will get angry if she sees vishnu.
Seenu: sambandhimmaa....
Sarasu to nallaan: yenya kitchen,inge vaa.
nallaan: enna sarasu?
Sarasu: pona machchaan thirumbi vandhaan poo manaththoda nra kadhai pola kona vaay seenu has come back again.
Nallaan: Sarasu, idhu melidaththu vivagaaram.
He signs to her to mind her own business.
Abirami comes out and greets seenu.
Seenu: sambandhimma, how r u?
Abi: I'm fine. I can't ask the same question to you becoz it may look like I am teasing you.
Seenu: It's ok. For a brave veeran, vetri maalai and prison are equal.
Abi: I expected more rosham and manaam from u.
Seenu: we should not have any expectations in life.
Only then we can live in peace. We should not live up to the expectations of others.
Abi: yes. good policy. Tell me, what's up?
Seenu: Day after tomorrow is an auspicious day.
Abi: Oh, you learnt astrology in jail?
Seenu: No. we can have the house registration on that day.
Abi: What? !! enna vilaiyaadreengalaa? I already signed registration papers in front of the registrar.
seenu: No. The registration was not complete.
Abi: appdiyaa? I don't know about that.
Seenu: Only you signed. Before I signed, Shanthi came and spoiled it.
Abi gets up: Mr. Srinivasan...
Seenu in his mind: Mr. srinivasan aa? !!!
Abi: You asked the house for telling me a secret. You told me and I signed the papers. My part is over. I kept my promise. I don't know or care if you signed or registration was complete or not.
As far as I am concerned, the registration is over. That's all.
Seenu: (begs) enna, that's all nu sollitteenga?
I went to jail because of this house. When I was going to sign, shanthi came and stopped it and sent me to jail.
Even god won't like twhat you are doing to me.
Abi: Just becoz god didn't like it, he stopped it from happening.You forged someone else's signature. Just because you didn't sign your own name, you couldn't get this house. See how fate played its part?
Seenu: I am asking you for the last time. Can you give me this house or not?
Abi: I am also telling you the last time. I cannot sign and give this house to you one more time.
Seenu moves his index finger like disapproving her: You r cheating me.
Abi: Yes. I am a cheater, a fraud. I tell lies.I will say one thing and do the opposite later. What can u do?
Seenu: naan.... Even after knowing what type of person this seenu is, you are talking to me like this? I will give even my life if someone trusts me. If someone cheats me, I don't know what I will do to them. naa ungalai sumaa vida maattenma. I will make you give this house to me.
Abi, keeping her cool: illennaa?
Seenu: I will buy you a puppy and you can name it srinivasan.
Abi: Dog is a grateful animal. I don't want to insult it by giving your name to it. You have come out only in bail.
If I call the police now and complain that Seenu is threatening me, you may ave to go to jail again and your bail will be cancelled.
Seenu pongi ezhundhufies and points his hand out like MGR shouts: ABIRAMIIIIIII....
Abi shows him the way out and leaves.
Freeze on seenu's angry face.

December 6: (Araichcha maavai araippomaa)

Seenu comes out disappointed from Abi's house. Vishnu asks Seenu if he got the house and Seenu shows a naamam on his forehead with his hands and says Abi has cheated him. Vihsnu advises him to use the other secret about Abi's mom to get the house. Seenu says it is a good idea and leaves the place challenging Abi, "ivalaa naanaa nu paathudren." They get in the car and leave.

Another car is shown. Madhan comes to this car and there comes Shanthi. She looks at the entrance of the house and Madhan says his dad has already left. Shanthi starts advising Madhan that he has to go to Hyderabad and take care of his son. Madhan is irritated with her advice. Shanthi tells him that he should not punish his son just because of his conflict with Rohini. Madhan tells her that Rohini called his dad also but his dad was a gentleman and he didn't advise him and he did not interefere with his private life. Shanthi should also leave because he doesn't want to be rude to her. Shanthi tells him that he is being srone hearted by not going to see his son. Madhan tells Shanthi that Rohini has lot of ego and wants Madhan to see her in Hyd and so she is making up this excuse about her son's illness. Shanthi wonders how he can imagine things like this about his wife. Madhan tells her finally if Rohini cares about their son, she should come to chennai and leave him with Madhan and he will take care of his kid.
(Madhan, ungalukkum ego irukku, thaane?)
So saying, he leaves. Shanthi goes behind him begging, "maamaa ... maamaa.." Ruthless Madhan leaves.
(Rohini, you were wrong. You told Shanthi that only she could make Madhan to go and see his son. avaLaaleye mudiyalaiye....)
Shanthi makes her next move to send Madhan to Hyd. She calls Charu madam and requests her to help regarding Madhan's kuzhandhai. Shanthi explains the situation to Charu and Charu promises that Madhan will definitely go to Hyd.

Charu and Madhan: (Paasa malar)
Charu praises Madhan for reporting to her every day about her business inspite of being a busy chairman to a big company.

Madhan says he is not as humble as his dad and she is praising him too much. Charu tells him that she wishes his family well just like madhan being a well wisher to her and her business. Madhan gets slightly angry and asks her who called her, Shanthi or Rohini. Charu asks him if his dad did not teach him to not to be an angry young man. madhan thalai thonga pottuttu, starts thinking.
Charu: (Speech of the day): Ego is your big problem. Try to look at the problem from Rohini's point of view. Your problem will be easily solved. This is not my advice. I am telling this from my experience. We should not neglect our family when we have small problems. Everyone has positive and negative points. We should forget about the negative points. We don't live upto some of our own expecations and we cannot expect our family members to live upto our expectations. I have lost my daughter and I know the pain of living alone without my child and I know how painful it is. It is wrong that you decided not to visit your son when he is sick, just because you are angry with Rohini. I hope you will not be a ruthless father. I am telling this as your sister. If you respect and accept me as your sister, you should go to Hyd. I have already bought the tickets to Hyd. Madhan takes the ticket.

Shanthi brings doctor with her to RK's house. RK is sitting on his bed wrapped in blankets. RK asks the doctor why he came to his house when lots of patients are waiting for him. The doctor tells RK that he has come to see a patient in his house. RK chides Anitha with chellam, "I have a slight fever and it is nothing serious. lokku.lokku. He coughs.
(When I call my boss and tell him I am sick, I use this lokku lokku technique.:) I am sure many of you must be doing the same)
RK: Anitha, Why did you make a big fuss and call the doctor?"
Doctor tells him that Anitha told about RK's fever to Shanthi and Shanthi was the one who brought him there.
(RK uncle, Anitha paavam yosikkave theriyaadhu. enna nadandhaalum udane shanthi anni koopiduvaa. avlo thaan, problem solve aagirum.)
Doctor examines RK with stethescope and checks his eyes.
RK tells him that he is alright.
(Now comes the sad part about the doc's dialogue about Medical profession. Doc, this is not right. You are insulting a noble profession.)
Doc tells RK that he has spent so much money and 8 to 10 years of his time studying medicine. He doesn't have any other skills to change his career. If all the patients start saying that they are alright, he won't have any money to survive.
Dr gives an injection.
(RK had fever, right? enna dr ya neenga? Temperature paakkave ille.)
He prescribes some medicines and advises Anitha to give him light diet. He then tells RK to be in rest for 3 days.
RK says," 3 days?!!! Nothing is wrong with me.
Doc: Don't tell me that you are alright. I have to survive. So you better take rest and eat the medicines.
(The pharmacist has to survive, too)
RK: nee pozhaikkanumnu summa irukkiravngalukku oosi pottu panakkarana aagap paakkiriya?
doc ilichufies and asks not to put kannu on his money.
Anitha and Shanthi giggle like they have heard a big joke.
RK asks Shanthi to drop the dr. Dr tells RK that Shanthi was the one who brought him and so she knows to drop him too.

Shanthi asks Anitha to make kanji for mama and mama sinungufies saying that he will go to office by the time shanthi comes back. Shanthi and Anitha giggle again .. kikkikkiki) 😆😆😆
Shanthi comes out from the elevator with the doc, holding his briefcase.
(Doc, pls konjam gentleman aa irunga. briefcase kooda thookka mudiyalainna modhalle ungalukku treatment eduthukkongo.)
vazhi le Shanthi peter vuttufies in English to doc," No doc, if RK mama is sick, he does not tell us anything. "
Doc: You don't worry. Give the medicines regularly.
Shanthi and doc reach the entrance of his office and Shanthi gives his briefcase to him.
doc: nee pommaa. naan poyikkiren.
(Doc leaves like a kindergarten kid who is dropped at the entrance of his class.)
Shanthi sees Samson near the hospital elevator and immediately hides like FBI officer to watch him. She notes down the room in which he went. She stops and thinks for a while and sighs.

Seenu thinks of his conversations with Abi and holds his head and sits down on the steps. He calls his wife to bring a cup of coffee and bring thailam. He realises that Rani is not there. He decides to bring her home. He thinks of calling by phone and then changes his mind to go in person to bring her home. His ego stops him for a minute. aanaa maanam rosham illaiye.
(So selfish. Coffee podradhukkum thailam theykkiradhukkum mattum thaan wife venumaa?)

SKPD ulaathufying near his pool. Kanakku comes and tells SKPD that Seenu has come out.
SKPD takes it lightly: adhukenna, sirai senru thirumbiya semmale varuga varuga nu poster adichu ottanumaa? ille, vizha edukkanumaa? hmm..avanlaam oru manushan....
I don't care about him.
Kanakku advises SKPD not to misjudge Seenu and they should be careful. SKPD tells him not to advise his own boss and he knows better. kanakku says if SKPD wants kanakku to jalra thattufy him, he will do that but he cares about his boss .
SKPD angrily tells kanakku he is talking too much and then asks, "sari, seenuku enna, sollu."
Kanakku tells SKPD: You have 2 enemies. "one is police and the other one is sivaraman. They both are close to each other. Police must have sent seenu as an informer. He may approach us with some excuse. We are not going to gain anything from seenu. We have to be very careful with seenu."
SKPD tells kanakku that both SR and seenu are terrified by the name joe. joe is SKPD's friend and he need not worry about anything.

Shanthi plugs her cell phone to charge it and then she starts thinking. Flashback about how joe ignored her once when he was typing something. Shanthi virichufies her eyebrows and moves her eyes this way and that way. mmm...there. edho kandu pidichitta maadhiri, she goes into joe's room and looks into all the folders and makes a mess throwing folders around.
tatataang..music..
Joe is coming to his room up the stairs. Freeze.

December 7th: Viru viru car chase. Damaal.

Shanthi is still searching Samson's office room and she finds a Hospital report with a Discharge summary written by Dr. Venkataswaminathan for the patient named Lawrence. Samson (Samsong tv) is coming up the stairs.
Shanthi finds a cd. She runs the cd in samson's pc and finds out from the picture ID of Samson that his name is Lawrence. she vaay polandhufies and says LAWRENCE??!!!
She finds out the great truth that Samson is Lawrence.
Flashback of Samson first joining RK's office introducing himself as Samson.
(yerkanave Joe and samson nu rendu names. pudhsaa innoru name aa ippo? viewers anandham paarththu paarththu confuse aanadhu polave, shanthi Cd paarththu romba shock aagi thanakku thaane pesikka aarambichittaa. paadhi mental aayaachu.)
She sees the xray of Samson with a bullet on his shoulder and the cd shows it moving to his spinal cord.
Shanthi loudly to herself: Shoulder le bullet irukku.
(aahaa, periya kandu pidippu. vetri vetri. naan kandu pidichitten.)
mudhalle AC sir ai paathu inform panniyaaganum. She lavattufies the cd and starts leaving and then sees Samson coming to his room. She closes the door and goes to a side door in that room and comes out from the next room. Samson enters his room and simultaneously Shanthi gets out of the next room with the cd.
Samson sees the mess in his room and realises that somoene has messed up with his info and runs out.

shanthi and samson have a running race. Shanthi gets in the elevator and runs out to her car and leaves in her car. Samson takes the stairs and chases her but he misses our heroine in a split of a second.
(Is the working hours over? There is no single soul, not even a security guard in the office.

Samson chases shanthi in his car. Sun light is still there. periya budget movies pola car chase nadakkudhu.

Scenes of Shanthi changing gears, samson chasing her, screeching of breaks, sound of horns. konja neram road tour. Now, Samson takes out his gun. Shanthi is full of tension and toots her horn at people. Meanwhile, she tries to hide the cd and pushes it under her seat.
(Now viewers must have guessed that she is going to meet with an accident. Too much overacting, shanthi.)
She avoids running over some women in the road but Lo, when she tries to avoid hitting a man, her car bumps into a tree and shanthi falls unconscious on the steering wheel. The windshield glass shatters into pieces. Blood is oozing out from shanthi's forehead.

Samoson stops his car and hides the gun in his pocket and approaches shanthi's car. By this time, a crowd has gathered near her car and some ladies are labo thibo nu kaththufying and wringing their hands in sympathy.
Dhideernu one police car comes and samson slowly backs out and goes back to his car and watches.
ACD's rival Shankar comes to the scene. He recognises Shanthi and makes a call to someone. Then he calls JC and inform him that RK's DIL met with an accident in kalakshethra road.
JC: Oh my god. How is she?
Shankar: Se is still unconscious. I have called the ambulance and recovery van. JC asks him not to leave the scene until all the formalities are completed.
Another set of police come. samson is still watching.
JC and ACD disuss about the accident and JC asks ACD to inform RK.
(RK's dil na? He has 2 Dr-in laws and also an ex DIL. ACD is in his uniform. He is smart.)
ACD calls RK and informs him that Shanthi met with an accident. RK asks ACD how it happened. Some muted dialogues.
RK calls Anitha and she comes out saying, "yenpa ipdi kaththurenga?"
(Anitha, we never talk like this to our dad. Learn some manners, ma.)
He tells her about the accident and then he immeditaly informs Arjun.
(RK uncle, don't you think you have to inform karthik first? well, he read vinu's mind.)
Then he informs Karthik.

Accident scene: (Now it is dark)
Ambulance comes and soga music aa..aa..aa....
(Pls, namma heroines laam avlo seekiram poga maattaanga. Music director, konjam adakki vaasinga.)
Shanthi is taken to the hospital and she gets her head bandaged.
Recovery van (oho, Tow truck thaanga) comes and tows Shanthi's car away. Samson comes out from his car and looks around the scene for his cd.
(How come Samson ai endha police man kooda gavanikkalai?)

RK and Anitha come to the hospital and enquire the nurse about shanthi's condition. She tells him the usual dialogue that doc will come and talk to them later. RK and Anitha peep into the room where drs are treating shanthi.
konjam paraparappu. ennanu paaththaa, namma arjun and aasthana saradhi narayanan come running.
Arjun asks RK: enna maama aachu?
RK: No one is talking to us about her. I don't know how the accident happened.
Arjun also wonders how it happened because shanthi is a good driver.
arjun runs and peeps into the room where Shanthi is being treated.
Arjun tells Anitha to take care of anni and he will come back soon and runs out.

Doctors are treating Shanthi.

Update for Monday, December 10, 2007

Scene starts with Samson at scene of accident. He is asking someone where the car is, and is told to go to the garage. He goes to the garage, asks for the owner/mechanic, and then identifies himself to the owner as an employee of Shanthi's company. The mechanic tells him it is a very bad accident, he has seen several cars that have been involved in accidents, but none as badly damaged as this one. The radiator is smashed, the steering wheel is smashed, the engine is smashed, and so on, the whole left side is damaged. Pinne enna, Shanthi madamkku ellame grand scale than. Shanthiya kokka??!! (My Tamil is not quite up to date, please excuse me and let me know if any of the expressions I use are from times long gone.) Samson wants to know what happened to the things in the car, and the mechanic says they have kept everything in the office (our police are obviously ignorant of such things as keeping the scene of the accident untouched by others). He sends a boy to fetch the stuff (whatever happened to the rule prohibiting the use of child labor?)and hands the ziploc bag to Samson, but tells him that everything is to be kept safe, in case the police ask for it (if they ever come to their senses). Samson goes through the bag, but all he finds are some rupee bills, and other sundry items. He asks about a CD, but is told to go and look at the place where the accident happened.

Scene shifts to the hospital, where Priya (in a blue blouse, and some printed sari, not too exciting), Anita, and RK are looking anxious. Karthik arrives and asks what happened and where? He is told by RK that it was in Kalakshetra colony, and he wants to know what Shanthi was doing there. He asks how she is doing and RK does not say anything. He repeats his question, and Rk finally says that pechu moochu onnum illai, uyirukku porattam, ICUle irukka. Karthik looks at her from outside with a sad (??) look.

Scene shifts to Seenu's son's house (what is the son's name?), where Ramya is playing with Shyam's baby, her husband is playing with their daughter, and her MIL comes in and says let us go and see Shanthi in the hospital. Ramya says that the baby is not doing well, so she will stay at home with the children, so MIL says she and her son will go, and goes up to change. Meantime, a red car draws up outside and Seenu gets out. He rings the doorbell, and the son opens the door. He asks "Enge vandheenga" and Seenu replies "Naan un appanda". Maybe he needs a hearing aid, or is not sure of his son's memory. The son clarifies that he wanted to know why seenu has come and does not let Seenu into the house. Ramya comes and tells her husband to let him in as the neighbors will all be watching. Seenu comes in and says he has come to take his wife home, and the son says it is not Seenu's wife, but his mother who lives there. Seenu gives all the dialog about how he took the son to LKG and school and put him through college, etc, and look how he is talking. The wife comes in and says she does not want to go with Seenu, and he has done fraud. Of course, he says everyone does fraud, only the scale of the fraud is different. Ramya brings in coffee, and her husband tells her that Seenu does not even deserve water, and to give the coffee to a beggar, she will at least get some punniyam. Anyway, finally he leaves because the wife says she will not come, and he tells his son that he will not get the punniyam of seeing his father die.

Back to hospital, Karthik is overwhelmed and cannot express himself to RK. Meantime, the doctor comes out and says that Shanthi is still battling for her life. Indu and Arjun come in and Indu wants to see her mom. Karthik scolds her and tells her to go home with Priya but she insists on seeing mom, so finally RK takes her. Karthik expresses his doubts to Arjun that it may not have been an accident, but an attempt on Shanthi's life.

Back to the mechanic's garage, where the mechanic is asking a boy to get them tea (child labor again!) He calls the boy Irulmurugan, but his name is really Arulmurugan - joke! The boy comes back with the tea, and we see the missing CD, on the floor under the passenger seat, which of course, no one has seen so far.

Scene shifts to JC's office, with ACD and Shankar sitting across from JC. Shankar says that the accident was caused by speeding by Shanthi and he is going to file the FIR. I couldn't hear the conversation too well at this point, but he said something like there is a lot of traffic on the road and she was going fast. JC asks ACD if he agrees, and he says he is not sure it was an accident. (ACD in police uniform, stiffly starched clothes and hair.)

Some action today.


Update for Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Hospital scenes - boring, one interesting scene at the end.

White SUV draws up, out comes Samson. He strides into the hospital, asks where Shanthi is and is directed to the ICU. Looks through the door, sees Shanthi tossing about restlessly, taking labored breaths. Make a note of this - I shall call it the SB scene, short for Shanthi Breathing.

Samson comes out and someone tells him that Mudalaly is over there, walks over to RK, who is sitting in the dark. He asks RK how it happened, and RK is unsure. He enquires about Shanthi's health, and RK tells him they have done the MRI and nothing is known. Samson tells RK not to worry, holds RK's hands in his, makes the sign of the cross and piously says that Karthar kappathuvar.

Next scene - at Shanthi's house, Priya brings something for Indu to drink. She wants to go to the hospital to see her mom, Priya tells her that she has already missed two days of school, she needs to go to school and can go to the hospital in the evening. Karthik irons Indu's clothes, takes them to her, she again asks about going to the hospital, and Karthik also tells her that she has to go to school. Priya gets breakfast ready, Karthik says he does not want breakfast but is going to drop off Indu. Indu says Bye reluctantly to Priya.

Scene shifts back to hospital - Anita is talking to Rohini, who is enquiring about Shanthi. Rohini wants to know if Madhan is back, and says that Shanthi was responsible for sending him to Hyd'bad, and now see what has happened to her. Madhan comes in, asks his dad where Shanthi is, is directed to the ICU, told not to go inside, so he also looks through the unfrosted circular part in the glass door - second replay of SB. Madhan is upset, says he is going to ask the doctor what is going on. RK is trying to stop him.

Seenu's wife and son come in and are directed to the ICU room by RK and Co. One more replay of SB. Next they show a lady coming in, turns out to be Charu. Her turn to ask about Shanthi, gets directed to the ICU. Yet another replay of SB. Don't worry, this is the last one - at least for today. She asks RK if the reports have come in, and what the doctor is saying. RK says that there is no clot in the brain, and they are waiting for "conscience varadhuku" - I am assuming he meant "consciousness varadhuku" and mixed up his words due to the stress (of seeing SB over and over again?) Priya tells Charu that Shanthi is normally a very cautious driver, never speeds, and has been worrying about someone following her. She tells Charu about the threats Shanthi had been receiving.

Samson entering his workplace, goes into his room, looks through the cabinet, shuts it, it does not shut, shuts it badly, then goes through the folders on his desk and his drawers, mutters to himself "Where is the CD?" and holds his head in his hands.

Police Quarters - a young schoolboy enters one of the houses, his mom is in the kitchen and asks him why he is late. He says that he was studying in his friend's house, his mom comes out and starts slapping him (the usual physical abuse, this time on a child - did his parents consent to this filming?). A man calls out from inside "Why are you hitting the child?" and she says "neenga summa irunga, mama" and continues to hit the child, saying "you will also go the way your father has gone. Were you really studying?" and the boy admits that he was watching TV. Now she hits him for watching TV, and the man calls out again "yemma avanai adikkare?" (he is afraid he will be in trouble for child abuse), she again says "Neenga summa irunga, mama. Ivan TV paarthuttu vandu padikarennu sonnan" and tells the boy to stand right there with his bookbag on his shoulder till she returns from the store. She leaves, and someone comes out from inside - Othakkai subbu.

Update for Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Opening scene: Schoolboy being scolded by his mother and punished, Othakkai comes in after mother leaves and tells boy to go inside. He demurs, Othakkai tells him it is okay because Periappa (himself)has said so, and tells him once again to go inside.

Next scene: Humor club meeting in beach, RK sitting to one side, all by himself. Now comes our hero, attired in white capris, peach sleeveless Tshirt, hair looking all tousled, jogging and stops when he sees RK. Great display of biceps! Wants to know why RK is sitting all by himself, RK says he is disinclined to find humor, some philosophizing by RK and then they start walking. RK asks ACD if there is any truth in the rumor that he and SKPD's daughter are to be married, and ACD says that he also heard about the rumor, and saw neither the need nor the necessity to do anything about it (avasiyamum illai, thevaiyum illainnu thonnichu avarukku). RK is relieved, says he has been second guessing the decision to put off Priya's wedding by a year.

Next scene: Temple, Charu praying. White SUV draws up, Abi gets out and two mice in black (sorry, security guys) scurry to open the doors for CP. Abi tells mice to wait outside and not to follow them in the temple, SKPD knows she will take excellent care of CP. Charu comes out as they are entering, Abi tells CP to get Charu's asirvatham. Charu asks "What's up?" and Abi tells her that CP is going to get married. Charu asks who the groom is, and Abi tells her it is none other than our hero, ACD. Charu asks if ACD is agreeable to this and Abi says who will say otherwise if SKPD has ordained it. Now, C asks if CP is agreeable, and CP walks off.

C goes home and Priya is waiting there. She reminds Charu of some letter to be dictated (can't you compose it yourself and then bring it up for signing?), and Charu asks her what is going on between her and ACD. Priya is about to cry and Charu tells her that women cry every time there is a problem, no matter how educated, without facing the problem. Priya tells Charu about his going around with some rich girl to the temple, restaurant, even the beauty parlor. She is surprised when Charu asks if it is SKPD's daughter that Priya is referring to, and tells her that there could be several reasons why they have been meeting, since ACD is a police officer. Priya says she doesn't think so, and says she has lost faith in ACD. Bon, you and I need to drown our sorrows at a bar and forget all our dreams of attending the wedding.

Next scene: Man (sorry, mouse) in black bringing tray loaded with flowers to Dorai's house. Dorai's parents are wondering what's up, then SKPD makes his grand entrance. He announces himself, ACD's dad says he knows who he is. SKPD wants to know if they are not going to invite him in and seat him, they do so and he talks of how he wanted to bring 100 trays but didn't think their house could thaangu it. They do not follow him, so he tells them he has come to talk sambandham. They are still in the dark so he tells them that they have a young, unmarried son and he has a young, unmarried daughter (known facts) and he has come to settle their wedding and once they say Yes, he can fix up the date and time, etc. ACD's mom says their house cannot thangufy his paavams, and such an alliance is unthinkable. SKPD is furious, but then ACD's dad says his wedding has already been fixed elsewhere, and asks him to leave. This could have been said earlier and in a nicer manner.

Back to the ICU, this time it is Arjun looking at SB, and then - it happens! It is a miracle! Shanti's oxygen mask is off, and her lips are moving, and she appears to be saying something. She keeps raising her left hand and Arjun is watching her. There is no nurse or anyone in the room, so he slips inside and can hear her saying over and over again, "Lawrence than Samson" and "CD carle back seatle irukku" when the doctor and nurse come in and berate him for entering the ICU! (Well, someone has to go in and check on the patients, and if the doctor and nurse are not there, someone else will have to do so. Nobody seems to have thought of this in the script room!)

Arjun comes out and is thinking about Shanthi's words and goes somewhere... action music comes on! More action to follow tomorrow!

Friends, here is today's update. Unfortunately, today has been a day of visits to the doctor, dentist, etc., and I have tried to view this three times, but not one was a complete viewing, so there may be some holes in my update. Please bear with me, and fill in wherever I have missed out something important.

Update for Thursday, December 13, 2007

Arjun has picked up where Shanthi left off, and is doing some detective work today.

Scene opens with Arjun leaving the hospital room, thinking. He sees another doctor and nurse, goes and asks how he can locate a certain doctor. The doctor tells him to ask at the IMA desk, which is downstairs. Arjun thanks him and leaves.

Next scene: The phone rings in Charu's house, and she picks it up. Othakkai is on the other end, and she urges him to surrender to the police. He wants to know why he should surrender when he is innocent, and criminals like SKPD are roaming freely. She tells him it is not to punish him, but for him to become an approver against SKPD. He says he has to take care of certain things like reuniting CP with her mother, and then he hangs up. CP tries to ring him back, but someone else answers the phone, it is a public phone.

Scene shifts to Arjun - he is asking the person at the IMA desk for details of Dr. Venkata...(Dr. V for short), and notes down the address.

Next scene: the garage where Shanthi's car has been towed. The mechanic calls the boy and asks him to remove the mats for cleaning, and the boy comes across the CD. He wonders if it has 'that' kind of movie, and tucks it in his pocket and securely zips it up.

Scene shifts to Arjun going to the doctor's house and ringing the doorbell. A small boy answers and says the doctor is not at home and shuts the door. Arjun walks around and sees another door. He knocks, and a woman answers the door and tells him rudely to go away, or she will call the police. When he asks again, she says the doctor is in the hospital and shuts the door. (Which hospital - ellorum mind reading padikkanum).

Next Scene - SKPD polambufying to his mother that his sambandam was rejected. She is glad that someone was not taken in by his sotthu and says she would like to kumbidufy them in person! SKPD glares at her and declares that SKPD sonnal, sonnadhu dhan and ACD will get married to CP and no other.

CP is doing a lot of shopping and has the security mice in black take the boxes and load them in the SUV. We can see Othakkai also placing a box in the car, unnoticed by the security guys (all they know is to scurry around and open doors, no one told them to watch out for strangers!). CP goes home in the SUV.

Arjun goes to the doctor's office, and introduces himself. Then he asks about Samson, and the doctor promptly asks him to leave, accusing him of thathu pithu ularufying and says that he does not know of anyone by that name. He accuses Arjun of mirattufying his people at home, and so Arjun leaves without any further info. Then the doctor calls Joe on his cell phone and warns him about Arjun checking on him.

Next scene: CP reaches home, the security guys take the boxes inside and she opens a box. She appears to be looking for something, and she now opens another box, and sees something wrapped in newspaper. she takes it out and it is an arival. There is a note attached and she takes it out and reads it. It is from Othakkai, detailing how he was asked to kill Charu and her daughter and how he helped them to get away, and telling her to go back and live with her mother, rather than the criminal father. FREEZE

Please God, hear our prayers and bring this serial to an end soon.

Thanks everyone for waiting patiently for the update. I would have sent it earlier but was not able to bring up this site for the last five hours. No idea what is going on.

Thank you God, for bringing my week to a close. One more week and I would have gone stark staring mad, though today's episode was a little better, thanks to our cool hero!

Opening scene: Arjun pulls up at the garage, asks for the owner, asks if he can look in the car for a CD. The owner tells him another guy also came and asked about a CD, what's so great about that CD? He describes the other guy as "uyarama, seppa, chinna beard" and Arjun recognizes Samson from the description. Arjun looks in the CD, while the boy, Arul aka Irul, nervously clutches his left pocket where he has kept the CD. Arjun cannot find anything and leaves.

CP is sitting in her room and SKPD comes looking for her. He wants to know why she is looking so gloomy and she asks about her mother. He tells her to forget all the old stuff, and asks if she went to see her paati. She shows the arival and the letter. She tells him how she came in possession of the same, and he reads the letter, mutters "Othakkai" angrily, and crumples it up, tosses it away and strides out of the room.

Arul, aka Irul, takes a key from the office, goes and sits in Shanthi's car, and lo and behold, the CD is now in his right pocket! Mayajaalam! He inserts the CD in the DVD player, but is unable to see anything (paavam, he doesn't know that he needs a computer) and mutters "latcham latcham koduthu car vangi, ottai player vechu en ottaranga?" Meantime, he hears his name being called, as usual "Irul", and goes inside.

Abi enters SKPD's house, sees him is about to call him Appa, then checks herself and calls him Sir and asks him why he is sitting when he should be busy with wedding preparations. (Actually, he was waiting to confer with Uma's parents about all that!) He starts telling her about the treatment given to him at ACD's house, and she tells him that guys will line up to marry his daughter, all he has to do is advertise in the TV and magazines, and CP "yaarunnu therinju vidum". SKPD is shocked, says she is my daughter, what do you mean by that? Abi samalichufies, and says "her bridegroom yaarunnu therinju vidum" Meantime, ACD walks in, in his starched uniform and hair, and tells SKPD that he should have thought before going to ACD's house. Abi starts intervening on SKPD's behalf, he tells her to stop, saying she is neither an advocate nor was it her house, and asks SKPD to talk for himself. He says that he may have studied in the SKPD trust, but that does not oblige him to marry CP. He knows all the dirty money laundering that is going on and the trust is being run, courtesy of PP and the generosity of others. Besides, he is discharging his obligations by funding the education of two (or is it three?) students, so he does not owe SKPD anything. When he gets all the evidence against SKPD, he will himself arrest him. Besides, he is already engaged to another girl - so the fire is still burning in him! Brave dialogs, well said! SKPD brags that he can get a richer, better son-in-law, and ACD tells him to do just that and strides out, leaving Abi and SKPD with slack jaws!

A policeman goes to the garage and gets the report from the owner.

Abi is looking at her reflection and thinking how she thought she could expose CP using the wedding pretext. Now that has failed, and CP is still enjoying the company of her father, while Abi herself is unable to claim either parent. She decides that she may have to get rid of CP herself.

Last scene - appada! CP is standing in the mottai maadi, and Kanakku comes looking for her. He tells her that her father is searching for her and she tells him to go tell her father that she is upstairs. SKPD comes looking for her and she asks him why he sent her mother away? He tells her not to rake up old stuff, and she says that the stuff may be old, but she cannot dispose of her mother as pazhaya amma and pazhaya appa. She asks him who Othakkai Subramaniam - dangerous ground, SKPD did not say his full name - and SKPD says it is someone who used to work for him and does not do so any more. She asks him if he tried to get rid of her and her mother, as stated in the letter, and he begins to get furious, controls himself, and tells CP how much he dotes on her. She leaves, saying she will find out the truth one of these days. Final shot focuses on SKPD's face.
