Sumans no reaction to Shravans self respect drama comment! My take

Well I myself was a lil taken aback with sumo not replying..how much ever I liked the scene coz of its cuteness sumans non reaction did get me thninking and this is my take on it..

She has shown self respect in all cases but when it comes to Shravan her childhood friend ...her deep routed feeling of love ,trust and undying affection for the him makes her gullible and vulnerable...her love for him makes her self respect take a back seat...and this has been depicted on more than one occasion:

- when he came back from London and said he doesn't remember Sumo ..still when he came home she made sev ki sabzi ..waited to eat with him...and her glowing face when she opened the door and saw him standing right in front of her..she closes the door but checks on again thru the window..to see hoping he hasnt left.. she showed only love ...no self respect or ego

-- the revenge track...though she has been shown fighting back but still she forgives him much easily than expected..also goes to him for help..her childhood friend...chalo give credit to the khosla track that followed for it but still...she never questioned him much on that front

-- Shravan love realisation track...despite he pushing her away..despite his accusations of she playing with his feelings and he acting like a jerk in Anjalis party she goes to clarifies things with him

-- the Nirmala track..knowing fully well she wasn't wrong she chases him for days to apologize..for hurting him..

--.and now the accident track...she wasn't able to push him away from the hospital and he's around her at home too..

It clearly shows in his case her heart takes over her mind!!

That's the trait of Sumos character her love for Shravan is primary feeling..rest..secondary. .. one may like it or not..that's a different thing altogether...it's completely debatable and u r free to disagree.

And if we may try and look at it positively it helps her not to hold a grudge against the person she loves unconditionally in any circumstances ( she hasn't mentioned the revenge track ever despite Shravan mentioning her childhood betyral in all their serious confrontations despite hers being unintentional and his being intentional hurt)..also provides strength and postivity to her character.. unlike Shravan who reacts like litmus paper..

Let me know it ur feedback ppl.

very interesting point loved ur detailed explaination ..

she is more firm when it comes to her mother and PCT which represents her self esteem to her and not her asking for help ... ... just wanted add

something i wrote in another post

have u noticed that when ever shravan brings up her past action she gets a little tongue tied and doesnt offer any explanation .. i have seen in couple of instances .. this just makes curious to think tht she does feel guilty the way she made shravan feel while growing up .. not sure if its the intention of cvs but my opinion 😊

in today epi i felt it was her not wanting shravan help that he reacted calling self respect drama .. if he didnt respect tht he wont have been trying to make her do things on her own otherwise he wouldnt have kept the mag back for her to reach ...

as eveyone is helping her in different way and she has been accepting it .. just a POv

omg so beautifully put! i personally have struggled to understand her non reaction but you explained it so well. it does make sense, all of it.

yes she loves him like crazy, the same way he does! i just hope he realizes and sees it - everything that she cares for - her self respect etc... takes a back seat for him. i dont think he knows though 😉

Wonderful post I always say when ppl says abt suman self respect when it comes to sharvan from beginning I said its always diff when u love someone ur ego ur self respect takes a back seat she loves him a lot and that is why even she questioned herself again today why can't she forget him . The precap when sharvan talks abt paint compitition she tells him back bcz he hold her hand that time and sharvan was like she remembers it. I know sharvan help her. I really hope he sees her memory box so he will know what she feels when sumo can see letter why can't he

I love this!! Suman's love for Shravan will always come in between. If she wanted she could have asked pushkar to tell him to leave but she didn't.

Shravan helping her isnt bothering her in terms of self respect, but rather that she cant make herself tell him to go. She wants him with her but cant neglect how much he has hurt her.

Suman even said before no one can take their childhood memories away from her, she will pay any price for them as they are near and dear to her heart. When Shravan brings up childhood she is lost for a second, even then she had self respect but Shravan was her best friend so taking help from him was okay for her as he was doing it as a friend not as ehsaan.

To Suman in this situation it isnt about self respect but rather she doesn't understand why he is so caring after being so mean.

I was little surprised as well that she didn't give a reply to him. You explained very well that her live for makes her go soft on him. Even after the PCT incident if you notice every time they net there was this look on her eyes that was anything but anger. She was hurt not angry. Near the lift, when she saw him before accident. I mentioned in one my posts that we viewers were more angry at shravan than Sumon herself . You are right her unconditional live for him. I hope he realizes.

I think right now she is too broken to retort to him. Once a person loses confidence or sadness takes iver them, they dont really have the energy or strife to prove themselves right. And that is exactly what shravan wants. He wants her to be the fighter she is and will help her become that again even if it means he cant see her again after that.
