After clearing all formalities the couple waited at the lounge for boarding announcement. He sat opposite to her sipping on his espresso drinking in her features through his eyes. She was wearing yet another flowing anarkali today and her hair was tied high exposing her long creamy neck. Her periodic smiles, the way her fringe kept blocking her eyes, everything about her looked different to him. The attendant came forward and announced that their chartered flight was ready for boarding. Her jaws dropped when they were guided towards their private jet. A child look like innocence enveloped her face which made him forget all his worries. He had hurt her so much and yet she was ready to forgive and was already loving him in spite of his flaws. He knew that no kind of punishment will be able to soothe his guilt ridden heart. He was a little quick and took the stairs to the aircraft and held out his hand helping her climb the same like a gentleman. She was admiring him head to toe. Rest of the journey moved on smooth as she fell asleep resting her head against the window pane.

After a week:

Light fell through the silk curtains that adorned the room disturbing the couple who were far asleep dreaming. He struggled as light fell on his face and adjusted himself at the crook of her neck and pulled her towards him entirely. His hot breath grazed her neck and opened her eyes when she felt his leg on her torso. She looked at him dreamily and thought about her life with her husband over the past one week. She ran her fingers through his hair and he moaned "Hmmm" in sleep breathing in her aroma. She blushed at their last night's venture and his silly fantasies.

"Still longing for more" he spoke in his coarse voice pulling her over his chest.

She lifted her head slowly and traced his early morning stubble which tortured her last night crazy and nodded a sheepish no and rose from the bed pushing him hard. She covered herself in the bathrobe and ran in to the washroom leaving behind her goofily grinning husband. Things had drastically between them and she had this happy feeling in her heart and felt things were going to just be beautiful. She has been having this weird feeling. They had crossed all levels of intimacy but she wasn't ready to discuss through words. He had hurt himself enough this one week. He was bruising his body in the name of workout which annoyed her and he promised then on he wouldn't just to see the smile on her after one whole day. She draped herself in a sheer blue saree and walked out drying her hair only to find the room neatly arranged surprising her.

Geet stood in the kitchen preparing some of his favorites. It was just the two of them home. Daadi along with Annie and Dev had gone to London to spend time there with all of them. The house was silent but they enjoyed having the house just for themselves. He came down walking in his formals clean shaven. Finding no one home except Geet he quietly made his way in to the kitchen and hugged his wife from behind and settled his chin on her bare shoulders pushing all her to one side. He felt her skin alarmingly warm. Facing her he once again felt her forehead and felt it warm as well. How come he did not notice this morning he thought and felt a little guilty. Much against her pleas he switched off the stove and scooped her in his arms and settled her in their room and sat by her stroking her hair. She was arguing and extremely upset with him. The doctor was already on his way. She sat there resting her back against the headrest with her eyes almost shut when Nakul informed Maan about Doctor waiting downstairs. After going through basic physical examination

The doctor asked "Any fatigue, drowsiness, nausea anything of that sort" checking her pulse.

"Well not exactly but I have been feeling tired and there's been this constant headache" she said with a dreamy look on her face.

"MSK, everything looks hazy as of now. I am not sure so I wouldn't reveal much. How about you come for a consultation this evening. Only then I can confirm. Just get her to rest. Paracetamol isn't really advisable and I don't think its a good decision to administer them when I have some doubts. Lets meet this evening young man" the doctor said and tapped his shoulders lovingly.

He was perplexed for a few minutes. The doctor has not bothered to administer any kind of medicine not even a crocin the only tablet he knew off and she was answering with a silly smile on her face. Before he could drive the doctor mad the doctor had already left the two of them.

She got up from bed when he immediately held her asking her to rest. He questioned her about the conversation with the doctor. She smiled at him once again and shook her head in negative. Their tender moment was disturbed when his phone started to ring

"Adi, this better be important. And I remember about the tender meeting we have to attend tomorrow. Shasha needs to be fired. Ask her to call me in the next 15 minutes I will have her begging for her job. Good for nothing you all" shouted an angry Mann leaving her glaring at him.

The day went by pretty slowly. She had slept once again not realizing about anything happening around her while he was busy answering phone calls and emails. His once again beeped reminding about the appointment with the doctor. She had turned even more pale worrying the crap out of him. Managing to get ready he sat with her behind taking her in his embrace and ordered the driver to take their family doctor. After what seemed like a journey they finally reached their destination. Both of them managed to finish the initial formalities and waited before the obgyn consulting room for their turn. After another 15 minute wait both walked in introducing themselves.

The doctor went by testing her once again and sent her in for a urine test while he waited patiently to get a glimpse of his sick wife. She came out smiling and he shook his head in exasperation. He was once again stumped when the doctor smiled at them going through the reports.

"Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Khurana" she exclaimed.

Geet was beaming ear to ear as her eyes filled up.

"Get ready to become parents of a tiny tot. She is around a week pregnant" the doctor confirmed.

He felt like his world spinning. They were like a little more than a month in to their married life and she was already pregnant. How on earth was he going to handle this he wondered. Her face sure confirmed she couldn't wait to enjoy the joys of being a mother. Bloody hell they hadn't even gone on a proper date and damn they did not even discuss where they wanted to go on their honeymoon. But then there was a life going inside her. A marvel they had created together. He finally smiled and thanked the doctor taking his wife in a hug by her shoulders.

"Mr. Khurana, Please be careful as her term has just started. From the basic blood tests it suggests that she is extremely anemic which can even lead to an abortion. I am going to prescribe some folic acid tablets, iron and basic vitamins for the first few weeks. And I expect both of you here in 4 weeks. Also she might develop early signs of morning sickness. Try and be with her then. Otherwise just enjoy these 9 months" the doctor advised.

He assured her about everything and the happy couple walked out making phone calls informing their respective parents who couldn't stop themselves from congratulating and blessing them.
