KY2 FF: Heartbeats (Chapter 4D updated + NOTE)

Chapter 1A

This is the most prestigious college of Performing Arts in India, located in Mumbai, called School of Performing Arts and Creative Education or famous as The SPACE Academy.

The day seemed to be great. But all of a sudden, the wind started blowing fiercely, the happy sunny weather had changed into a stormy one. It was a clear indication that a war is about to break through...

Two students are walking (actually in a fast pace) towards the canteen full of anger. They reached there and found 5 people seated around their usual table. They walked up to them

"What the hell is wrong with you people? I am damn sure yeh sab tum logon ka hi plan tha"

"Relax Madhubala... Itna... (Taking a pause) Itna chilla kyun rahi ho, huh???"

"Just stop calling me Madhubala. And answer my question damn it. Tum log..."

"See Navya, that's the reason Cabir calls you Madhubala. Tum aise, you know, villagers ki tarah, like really unke tarah behave karti ho, but its unbelievable that you are from US. And, what do u expect from us, ki hum tumhare saath kaise behave karein. As your question goes, yes, we burnt those papers in the Archives Room. And put the blame on you guys. Yaad hai, kal tum dono wahan wapas gaye the apna phone lene ke liye. So at that time, we smartly froze the camera, and after your exit we went in and burnt some papers. And then it was like You Both did it. And see, YOU. GUYS. HAVE. GOT. DETENTION. This is what you'll get if u mess with Fab 5, got that?"

"Mukti, chill babes. We have done what we had to do. And Miss. Madhu Bala, you got the answer, now move."

"Stop calling her Madhubala you bloody moron"

"Harshad, zabaan sambhalke baat kar. This is not the way you'll talk to my gf. Get that? And, tujhe kya laga, tu, dean ko yeh sab jaake bataega and phir woh hame, you see, hame (pointing at 5 of them) punishment denge... Tch tch tch. You are forgetting something, that we are FAB 5. And also, Nyonika Aunty is one of the Trustees here"

"Dhruv, you are also forgetting that we are the Exchange Students from NYA (New York Academy). One complaint to our dean and everything is finished for your college. You know, no AFFILIATION, no TIE UP"

"You..."

"Mukti, chill kar. Haan so, Harshad (getting up from his seat) first of all, this thing is between us. So let's not bring our colleges in between. And, tu hamara kuch nahi bigad sakta, Got that??" (Now Fab 5 stood in front of NavShad with an evil smile) And waise bhi, let me too remind u something (smirks) you know na, that... Kya tha woh Cabir?"

"Are Manik, wohi na, jo iske jaan se bhi important hai, woh, PEN... DRIVE... who Pendrive toh"

"Manik..." Harshad held his collar and was going to punch him, just then he saw something, and his grip on Manik's collar loosened

Navya and Harshad froze on their places. Just then Manik said,

"Kya hua Harshad, darr gaye?"

With this Fab 5 hi-fied each other. But then they realised that they are still standing shocked looking at something or rather someone behind them. They immediately turned around and, they saw the same girl whom they had bullied this morning.

FLASHBACK

A girl, wearing a White Anarkali dress, came out of the Dean's cabin and was heading towards the canteen. Just as she reached, she saw that a boy was about to fall so she saved him from falling.

"Thank You" He said and ran from there

"Are Shahid kahan ja raha hai Ruk... Damn... Bohot maza aa raha tha yaar. Lekin iske wajah se woh bhag gaya" Said Cabir to which Dhruv said,

"Hey you. Idhar aana. I said come here!" He said eyeing her to come & stand beside their table. Mukti said, "Oh Ms. Ab invitation doon kya. Jaa" She pushed her from back and stood beside her near the table. Then Dhruv in polite sort of way said

"Tumhe, manners naam ki cheez nahi hai. Dikh nahi raha tha ki yahan seniors kya kar rahen hai. Phir bhi uski help ki to escape. Tch tch tch not good for u at all."

"Baby" Alya said, "Can't you see that she's a newbie. I mean just look at her. Zero In fashion sense, just like some bhenji" All laugh but then that girl turned around and started walking. Fab 5 were shocked as no one just ignores them. Mukti ran and stopped her from front. "Hey, dikhai nahi de raha ki seniors are talking to u. How dare u make a move from that place."

"Exactly" This time Manik said and he along with DhruLya start walking towards that girl. "Pehle toh tumhare wajah se hamara ek target miss hua & now is this the way u behave with ur seniors sweetheart??" Now Fab 4 were surrounding her. But still that girl remained silent. Alya said, "Are you deaf or what. Hum itni der se kuch na kuch bol rahein hai and you're not even uttering a single word and u don't seem to be even scared from us.."

"Don't worry Alya. She has crossed her paths with Fab 5. Toh punishment toh banta hai, right guys?" Manik said

And splotch!!!

That girl feels something sticky behind her head. She touches and sees that it is an egg. It now was flowing down from her head.

"Wohoo Cabir. You are the best." Saying so Mukti ran towards him, hugged him, and even Fab 3 went near MukBir. "Time for some action!!" And then Fab 5 saw that Cabir had kept all the food stuffs on a table near them. And that' it. They started throwing everything on the poor girl. And everyone in the canteen were enjoying this. After some time, Manik came near that girl, who was now fully covered with all the food stuffs from head to toe.

"DON'T YOU DARE MESS WITH FAB 5 NEXT TIME"

Flashback ends

"Hey you. Wasn't whatever you had in the morning enough, jo tum wapas chali aayi humare paas." Exclaimed Alya. That girl was still in the same dress, but her hair & face was clean.

"Doll!!!" Exclaimed NavShad

Chapter 1B

"Doll!!!" Exclaimed NavShad and since they were standing behind Fab 5 whose back was facing them now, they pushed them aside and ran towards her and took her in a bone crushing hug. After some time, they broke apart and Harshad cupped her face and asked,

"Doll. I, can't believe that you changed your mind. I am so happy to see you here" And they again hugged her. But soon reality struck them and Navya broke the hug and looked at that girl from tip to toe. She turned towards Fab 5 and said,

"So tum logon ne subah isi ki ragging ki thi right?? Now you will pay for this Fab 5"

Just then Dean and a woman came and she said,

"What's going on?? Kya chal raha hai yahan par Fab 5, and what is all this Ms. Naveli, and look at this girl's condition, will u please tell me what's happening?"

"I will tell you Mrs. Malhotra" Came a deep voice and everyone diverted their attention to look at that person. And seeing that person the woman and Dean froze on their place.

That person came near them and said, "Just now had a word with one of your students. So, Fab 5 (looking at them) Not good whatever you did today morning. And especially with her (pointing at that girl)... Hmm... So (turning towards the woman) Nyonika, ummm... Get the suspension letters ready for Fab 5. Don't want them here for a week..."

"Who are you to suspend us?" Asked Manik, "And do you even know who she is? She is Nyonika Malhotra, the head of the trustees, owner of Malhotra Industries, and above all, she's my mom, why do u think that she will listen to you, who is nobody?"

Meanwhile, the Dean came and handed the respective letters to each 1 of them. They were shocked to no limits. Before they could say anything, that man spoke,

"Thank you Mr. Dean. And Fab 5, a thing that u don't know, or might have misunderstood."

He looked at Nyonika & back at them,

"Who am I to suspend you, right? So, Fab 5, this is Rajeev, the actual. Head. Of. Trustees. That's right. Actually, since I am the M.D. of Pegasus Group of Industries, which is in US, I had to go back. So I just handed full responsibility of looking after things here to Nyonika as I only trusted her. And... Manik, if that's your name, what did u say, She's your mom & that's the reason YOU GUYS rule over SPACE & nobody tells you anything, right? So let me tell you all one thing. This girl, jiski ragging ki tum logon ne aaj subah, I am her Guardian. And tum ne uski yeh halat ki hai. So I don't think I'll let you guys go with this so easily. And Navya and Harshad are her her good friends..."

"Best Friends" Came a response from NavShad.

"Ya, whatever. So, this is the punishment for also irritating the two of them these 4 months and also for putting the blame of what 'you' did, on them, you know, the Archives room scene... Enjoy your one week's holiday." Saying so he started leaving. And here Fab 5 were standing like statues. It was really shocking for them. Rajeev went to Nyonika, who said,

"Am sorry Rajeev. I did not know like she was your daughter, I mean, you are her guardian. And is she the 10^th exchange student from NYA?"

"Yeah, her name is Nandini Murthy and princess..." Navya, Harshad and Nandini were actually standing besides Nyonika. So he turned towards Nandini and cupped her face and said,

"Why did you come directly from the airport to SPACE? You will be tired from the journey and also will have Jet Lag. Let's go home. And Navya, Harshad, you guys come along. You need shower. (Since they hugged Nandini, their dress got spoilt as well) So Nyonika, we are leaving now. Will talk later." And all the four of them left.

So that girl's name is Nandini Murthy, Manik thought and his heart skipped a beat and something brewed inside of him. And he couldn't understand why. Nyonika sent a final glare in Fab 5's direction and left.

Nandini' Manik called out in his mind and an uncertain warmth spread in his chest. He felt peaceful, comforting and his heart fluttered just by thinking about that name. What is happening to me? He thought. He was brought out of his trance by someone's voice.

"Manik?" Mukti asked in a voice full of concern and she and the other three shared the same concerned looks. He knew they would get worried if he told about this to them. They were already so concerned and worried about him after whatever happened back in the start of the year. He didn't want to worry them all over again. So he composed himself and said,

"Guys I'm fine." They didn't seem to buy that, as they were giving him strange looks. So he repeated in a more confident voice.

"Are you sure buddy?" This time it was Dhruv.

"Yes buddy. Absolutely fine." He reassured them.

"So iska matlab," Cabir said with an intention to lighten everyone's mood,

"NO FUN, NO LADKI TADNA. NOTHING??"

"Cabir" Yelled others.

"Kya, are, mera matlab, 1 week no college. And uske baad bhi this ACTAUL HEAD OF TRUSTEES will not let us live our lives. And woh Madhubala aur Jerkshad bhi pata nahi kya karenge. They will also have that Rajeev, whatever his name is, they will have his support as well."

Mukti said, "True Cabir, and I am sure they will get back on us. Also for bullying their so called best' friend. That little piece of..."

"Mukti!! No..." Manik warned. He himself didn't know why. All looked at him in surprise.

"Mera matlab hai she has a name, Nandini..." Nandini, he repeated to himself and felt a soothing relief spread inside him.

Why is whatever happening to me happening for whatever reasons at all? He thought, and internally smacked his head for such a question.

"Ya whatever her name is. They will get back on us for sure."

"Mukti chill. We are Fab 5, Not scared of anything or anyone. We will see that when time comes. But for now, let's enjoy our one week vacation, what say?" Dhruv said.

"Yes!!!" And they all had a group hug.

Chapter 2A

The four of them reached Hope Mansion. It was huge and luxurious. It has everything one could think of. NavShadNi went to freshen up. After a half hour, both Navya and Harshad came out of their rooms. But sadness was written on their faces. They looked around. Nandini was nowhere to be seen. They finally decided to check if she was in her room and started heading in that direction. There she was, sitting on her bed, resting her head on the headboard with closed eyes. NavShad looked at each other and sighed. They sat beside her. Feeling someone's presence, she opened her eyes. Harshad said,

"Doll, take rest. Get some sleep." Navya said,

"Ya Nandini, you should sleep." She was cut by Nandini,

"Guys... (Leaving a heavy sigh) I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me." To which, they immediately hugged her.

"Good to see you back doll. Hame toh laga tha, hum tumhe kho chuke hai. You know, it feels great to see you, to listen to you after what seemed like ages." Said Harshad and Navya said,

"Haa Nandini, taras gaye the hamare kaan tumhe sunne ke liye. Hamse zyada toh Rajeev, he, he was devastated. He just couldn't understand what to do (breaking the hug). I have never seen him so helpless in life." Nandini got up from the bed and stood near the glass door that led to balcony,

"Main sirf Rajeev aur tum dono ke liye aayi hoon yahan. I didn't want to worry him or you guys. Warna main New York chodkar kabhi nahi aati, kabhi bhi nahi. And also, tum logon se itne din dur thi, toh mera dil kheechke mujhe tum logon ke paas le aaya. After all, only you guys are my life now. If I am still alive, it's only for you three". Hearing this they couldn't control, they ran and took her in a bone crushing hug. Both of them crying, but not even a single drop left Nandini's eyes.

They broke their hug on hearing someone clear their throat. Rajeev was standing with a tray, having 4 mugs of Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows. He kept it on the side table and handed each mug to NavShad, and they sat down on the two beanbags near the bed. Nandini came and sat on the bed, Rajeev sat beside her, handing her one cup and taking one for himself. She just side hugged him and said,

"I missed you Rajeev." He couldn't help but smile. He kissed her head and said,

"Missed you more Doll. And good to see you back," and getting normal, moving on. He couldn't say those words out loud. And they just sat there in a comforting silence, drowned in their own thoughts, having their cup of hot chocolate. After a while Rajeev spoke,

"Okay guys. I shall take leave now. See you later." He gently kissed Nandini's forehead and took the tray and the empty mugs with him.

"Let's do something guys." Navya spoke after a while, to which Harshad and Nandini looked at each other and back at her.

"Like what?" Nandini asked. Navya's held an evil glint in her eyes. She urged them to come forward and whispered something in their ears. Harshad and Nandini sat there for a whole minute, weighing up their options. Soon a smirk broke on Harshad's lips. Navya and Harshad looked at Nandini first with expectant eyes. But when they realised she wasn't buying it, they did the only best thing they could. Putting on their best puppy dog face, they looked at Nandini.

How could she say no to that face? She soon gave up and gave them a small smile. This is it. All hell broke loose.
