"Dr. Bose, you are...warming...u..up." He chokes his words. "You..You..have..fever...take...jacket..." He tries to take off his coat.
"Are you crazy? You are freezing up." He sits up and I let him. He leans again the wall, and I look at him helplessly, with tears in my eyes. "Did you eat anything in the morning?"
"N..No..I...had work..." Is he crazy or something?
"You are impossible, Mr. Dixit. Of course you're feeling so cold." I scoot closer to him and put my arm around his shoulder. This feels nice. I feel... protected? He leans his head on my shoulder, and I let him.
"I..I'm sorry. I..I dragged... you..you into this."
"You don't have to be sorry, Dev." I gently rub his arm, trying to provide some amount of warmth. I put my other arm around him too, hugging him.
"Had I not called you... You wouldn't be here.." His eyes start drooping. "I'm really..so..sorry."
"And you would be alone." I say, the tears falling uncontrollably, "Please don't close your eyes, Dev."
"You.." He raises his hand, and weakly cups my cheek. I lean into his touch, though freezing cold, it provides me protection.
"Take care.." And his eyes close.
"NO! No, Dev! Please don't! DEV! DEV!" His heads falls back into my lap, and I shake his head. "You..You can't do this! DEV! DEV, I- Please! Our story just started! You can't end it like this! WAKE UP! DEV!"
"I'm sorry, Sona..Sonakshi." And to think that might be the last time I'm hearing him say my name. NO!
"Dev, don't! You're not sorry! You..You're Mr. Aubhodro! You fight with me! You don't apologize. You're rude, and arrogant. You find me annoying, right? You find me so frustrating. Fight with me, Mr. Aubhodro. Disagree. Make my life hell. PLEASE!" I cry desperately.
"Sonakshi..." He raises his hand again, but this time it does not reach my cheek. It falls back on the ground with a thud.
"NO! Dev please! DEV!" I cry continuously, putting my head on his chest. "Don't leave me! Please, Dev!"
And then hell blacks out.

I wake up sweating profusely. I feel so disoriented. And then it all comes back to me. Mr. Arora. Freezer. Dev.
"DEV!" A cry leaves my lips. I look around the room, and realize its Dixit household. I am covered in sheets, and it's dark outside. What..What happened? Did I fall unconscious too?
"Sona Di!" Nikki walks in the room in alarm. "Are you all right?"
"Nikki, where's Mr. Dixit?"
"He's in his room, Sona Di. He still hasn't gained consciousness. Doctor is with him." He hasnt..! I...
"I have to go to him." I remove blankets from over me and attempt to get up from the bed. My head spins and I fall back. Nikki rushes to my side.
"Di, doctor is with him. He'll be fine, hopefully." Hopefully? "You..You should rest. You are not well."
"I have to go, Nikki. If anything at all happens to him.."
"It's not your fault, Sona Di. Mr. Arora said that there was a false fire alarm and so they had rushed out of the warehouse, thinking that you also heard it and rushed out as well from the back entrance. The back entrance was blocked, the door was also locked by some worker thinking that the freezer was empty." She takes a seat beside me and puts a hand on my shoulder. "When they came back, they found the both of you unconscious. Maa has being going nuts, and hasn't left bhai's side ever since both of you were brought. I have called Elena and your brother, and they are on their way."
"I have to go see him, Nikki. He asked me to wait outside. None of this would have had happened if I had waited outside. Why didn't I listen to him?" I put my head in my hands.
"Please rest, Sona Di. Your head might feel heavy. I'll wake you up when your family comes. Take rest."
And, however much I wish to avoid it, I fall back into the bed. And I return into oblivion.

DEV'S POV
"But, doctor, what is wrong with him?" I hear Maa say. I try to open my eyes. Why can't I open my eyes? Maa seems tensed.
"He was empty stomach, Mrs. Dixit."
"And what about Dr. Bose?" Sonakshi! She was in the freezer with me too! What happened to her? Is she okay? I have to see her! My head feels heavy and I feel a pain in my back as well. I have to wake up, I have to see her.
"She's stable, as of now. We can't really say."
"Maa!" Nikki calls. Nikki's here too? Whose with Sona? Is she alone? What if she wakes up and feels scared? Where is she? Is she being taken care of properly? What's going on?
"Nikki, what happened?" Maa asks.
"Sona Di gained consciousness." Thank God.
"Oh Thank God. How is she?"
"She wanted to see Bhai as soon as she woke up." What are you, Sonakshi? Do you not care about yourself at all? You just gained consciousness, and..
"I think Mr. Dixit is waking up." The doctor says as I try to flex my fingers. I blink. Once. Twice. Thrice. And then my eyes fluttered open.
"Dev!" Maa rushes to hug me. I close my eyes, not being able to hug her back. I'm in my room, I observe, and that while doctor stands to my right, Nikki and Maa stand to my left.
"Bhai!" Nikki hugs me after Maa.
"How is she?" I manage to say.
"She's fine, Dev. She's sleeping."
I need to see her.

{SONA'S POV}
I feel heavy pain in my head. Ugh. Where..
"Sonakshi." I hear a familiar voice call. And then I realize who it is.
Dev.
My eyes flutter open as I see him sitting at the edge of my bed. He has changed his clothes but still looks really week. I try to blink a few times, trying and failing to lessen the headache.
"Dev?" I say in a hoarse voice. I try to sit up, but fail. Dev rushes to me, holding my hand.
"Lie down." He says softly. I nod lightly, lying back down. "Have this." He hands me some pills. I take them and put them in my mouth. Handing me a glass of water, he gently makes me drink it. The water feels like heaven as it goes down my parched throat.
"Are..you..you okay?" I say, again in a deep voice.
"I'm perfect, Sona." He scoots closer, leaning down a little bit. My breath hitches in my throat.
"I was scared."
"So was I." He says, leaning down further. "But I'm here now, Sonakshi. Don't be afraid." And then he kisses my forehead!
Mr. Dev Dixit aka Mr. Aubhodhro just kissed my forehead! Pinch me, someone!
"I'm not." I smile lightly, then look up into his eyes. "As long as you're with me, I know nothing can harm me."
"Nothing." He repeats. And we continue to gaze into each others eyes.
Until..
"Ahem. Ahem." Comes Elena's voice. Ugh. Way to ruin a moment Elena! Dev gets up from the bed suddenly!
"Hi." He says awkwardly. Then he turns to me, and smiles. "I'll see you later."
"Bye, Dev babu." Dada says as Dev takes a last glance at me, and exits.
"Tell me everything!" Elena says.
And I do.
Everything...
Except our moment. Because that moment, if told to anyone, would not be as special as it is now. And I love the feeling of only the both of us knowing what connection we feel.
I don't know if Dev would still carry on with his engagement with Natasha Gujral. Maybe he wish, maybe he won't. But what I do now is..
I love my Mr. Aubhodro.
And nothing can change that.
Nothing.
