He was correct when he said, having no money does bring problems. Neha has seen the condition at Ranveer's house, kids fighting for food, dirty clothes, small house with lots of people in it. What is wrong If she wants betterment of all including her future.
The only thing he shouldn't have said was the match is not between equals. What he meant was not of equal thinking people.
Poor Dev he cares so much for everyone n gets into trouble for no fault of his. Sona showing attitude, is wrong.

Let me try some reasoning for Sona's and Ishwari's reaction. If you watch Dev-Sona conversation , Sona was totally calm listening to Dev and was trying to understand why Neha would request something like that when she is in love completely (It was shown Sona is not close to Neha and is totally unaware of her entire insecurities or Ranveer's house condition) Sona has always been bold and straight forward with Dev as Dr.Bose from the start, She never compromised her values for anyone, so for her Ranveer is insulted by bruising his self respect. Her panic/insecure button was pushed only when Dev talked about matching equals. Its not her attitude or anger which made her walk away but her self respect and disappointment with the man she loves made!! Only thing I wished Sona would have done differently is that she should have informed Ishwari before leaving day's work. Its against her work ethics to leave a patient uninformed. Well every human is flawed when emotional and so is Sona😳
Ishwari is already living with the guilt of spoiling Neha's childhood and the only time she found her daughter heartly happy was when she confessed her feelings about Ranveer. She also knows Ranveer will go beyond his comfort level to please Neha when he bought that expensive gift for her during Dev's engagement. Now she knows both their happiness is with each other and it will be again Neha who will be heartbroken if this alliance breaks and that too because of her "Zidd". Ishwari is not blaming Dev but making him understand where both siblings would have gone wrong. Of course every Mom wants best for their kids😳
With that said I also agree both Dev and Neha were 100% correct in their thinking as well. Thats the beauty of this show ❤️
