Alaap’s Rights As A Father ?

A lot of attention has been paid to how the Ritwik issue has affected MP relationship and will affect Sukriti & Saket relationship but what about Ritwik's other parent - Alaap?

Alaap is far from a sympathic character. What he did to Sukriti was vile. But he is the father of Ritwik. Doesn't he deserve to know the truth that he has a child or is it right to deny him this knowledge as well deny Ritwik from ever knowing his true father cos he is a jerk.

I am in two minds about this. On the one hand I don't think it's fair to deny a child it's parent or a parent it's child but on the other hand Alaap will create havoc with this knowledge. Which side do you guys fall on?

Well I think Alaap does deserve to know te truth, and for sure Alaap will use that knowledge that he has fathered Ritvhik to his advantage to create more misunderstandings in Suk-Sak marriage.😕 Some say that Ritvhik may have a positive effect on Alaap and may turn over a new leaf, I guess only time will tell.

I am also inclined to believe that both Alaap and eventually Ritwik deserve the truth.

But the real killer is going to see Suyesha being a step-mother. 😆

I am all for Alaap knowing the truth... The man deserves to know the truth. I know he has done mistakes...unforgivable ones... but even that wont take away his right to know about his Child... because knowing about Ritwik's existence is not only his right but the entire families aswell. At this moment I wont trust him with Ritwik's custody... but yes if not the custody of Ritwik... He has a right to know the truth. I am sure one of these days they willl go running to him because Ritiwk needs him. It happened with Rishi and Roshan aswell... the truth came out when Roshan met with an accident and he was O-ve he needed blood and they didnt have an option but to turn to Rishi. I wont be surprised if the truth comes out like that...Imagine the scene in the hospital lobby... or infront of an ICU It better not happen that way... cant put that baby at risk to get Prachi & Sukruti spit the truth😡

And moreover I can understand if Milind and Prachi have reservation to Alaap as legal parents... But Sukruti cant claim to be any better a parent in comparision to Alaap😡 Atleast without knowing Alaap's reaction to the child(Which I believe will be far better than Sukruti's😡) I cant give Sukruti the credit of being a better parent. She left her kid in some orphanage....what she did was far worse. If she had to desert that kid like that then she might aswell aborted the kid. And she has no right to assume Alaap will be a bad parent because she herself placed her life, her happiness, her honour, her marriage before the innocent life she chose to bring into the world.... She has been too selfish about her ownself... she has no right to question Alaap. the girl forgot Ritwik's Bday???😡 and agreed she told Saket the truth (which he didnt hear) But that was all she did!?! IF Saket was ok with the baby....couldnt she ask him if they could adopt Ritwik and get him back home? No, Saket said he is with her and Ma'am ran off to the orphanage to say bye to Ritwik😡

I dont see anyone better than Michi for Ritwik. Alaap and Sukruti would do Ritwik a big favour if they give up their rights on him as parents and allow Michi to bring him up. They can always be around as his gaurdian angels... They can either tell Ritwik the truth when he is all grown up or if they can get the entire family to shut their mouth... then they can hide it from him forever.😊

And Ritwik is the last chance for Alaap to chance a new leaf... There was a strange natural softness in him which took over when he saw Ritwik. And I want to believe the restlessness after that to know the truth somewhere must have been the unexplained emotion he felt towards Ritwik.😊 Oh, basically I want to see Alaap turn a new leaf... but only after making Sukruti's life miserable😡

yeah i want ritwik to change alaap, i have been waiting too long, i mean its kinda scary having a fragile prachi surrounded by devil siblings like ayesha and alaap.

Alaap does deserve to know the truth..no matter how much of a devil he has been 😡 i think once he finds out about Ritwik..he will slightly change in a positive way..i remeber how when Rishi found out about Roshan..how rishi started to become more caring..and how much he loved roshan..it was sweet 😳
Cant wait for when this whole mess is cleared..and Michi are once again together 😳 😉

good Q... and yep he has the right to know it... cause suk wasn't forced by him ... yes he betrayed her, but it was suk decision to give birth and she has forced her decision on him....

suk never thought about the consequences.... cause if she had done it then she would never had messed up her live...and ritwicks...

she has only carried the child ... after that she dump him... he was left without the love and care that he deserved...

Both Alaap and Suki do not deserve to be parents of Ritwik. I dont care whether Alaap knows or not. In fact he will only bring more havoc in Ritwik's life if he does by demanding his paternal rights or use him to blackmail for more money or status or whatever he wants.

I only wish Milsi knows the truth soon and adopts him. He will any day make a better father than Alaap ever can. Just because he has given his s**** does not give him the right to fatherhood. This guy has never assumed any responsibility all his life. Moreover he will only raise him up to be as snooty as he himself is. Suki is no better as a parent. She is totally self-centred and irresponsible. And to those who feel Alaap should make Suki's life hell, I'm fine by it. Only that in the process Milsi will be hurt given his love for his sister. This I do not want. That man has already been through enough. Moreover, if Alaap claims his paternal rights there will be a long custody battle which sure is not good for the child. So I would prefer that Alaap is kept in the dark. Since he has not executed any of his duties he does not deserve any rights now.

Like many of you...I too think that Ritwik future and hapiness will be more secure with Michi...and not with his birth parents at all..

Both his parents.....(birth ones)...are selfish to the core......We all ready know about Suk and her treatment of her child.....and Alaap is not that kind hearted or mature enough to gie the child unconditional love .....as he may see the child as means to an end...that is a way to getting money from Milli.....

Thus...even if Alaap finds out the truth...etc...I so want Michi to be his parents in every sense...by adopting the baby....though Prachi has already done that...but I want it to be more binding...so that no oen...I mean no one can claim Ritwik as theirs...be it Suk or Alaap.....or Niharaika...who woudl lvoe to get her hands on the Money bundle too....
