Is uttering the word the rape to describe the condition of body pain ,to be more accurate the painful walk where in one can't walk straight is crime. It's Crystal clear that it was to describe physical pain.No where he said rape means nothing but just physical pain.No where he made fun of raped victim. He statement might have hurt the victim's of rape ...and all women in General for which he should apologize but why are we calling him asshole and shit words and so much anger for a comment which wasn't to hurt anyone. We should show so much of anger for criminal ,terrorists but this anger makes no sense for uttering the word or using the wrong word.Aren't there more serious things happening in the world to focus upon.By showing this ,are we being more great humans or being judgemental. We use wrong words it's ok but he used wrong without the intention to hurt then it's wrong ...I m not his blind supporter and neither have defended his crimes which he has commited. This is something is like in Hindi rai ka pahad ...

If you go by that logic, then find the most serious issue in the world and forget about all other issues. He has been controversial all his life and got away many times. How many times you gonna forgive him just because there are other big issues?

Yes and no. It is all about the context. Here it was used to humiliate what a rape victim goes through. A broken and debilitated woman who had everything taken away from her. When you grasp the sense it is abundantly clear what he implied. There is no misquote about it.
To give you a better understanding I did some community service at a shelter that provided for the homeless and destitute. Sometimes there would be women who were raped or been victims of sexual abuse. Nothing about them was normal anymore. They would panic or jump over a slightest touch. They will be hard to work with because they were completely broken. Their whole being was taken away from them. It isn't just the physical trauma but also the emotional trauma of a rape victim. A part of them is forever gone.

To make it simple. It is as saying "Aisa haal hoga ke ke chalne ke kabil nahi rahogi"

The very fact that he used the word "rape" to articulate his physical pain of the work he does is atrociously disgusting. Physical pain of what he was describing CANNOT be used as a parallel to feeling like a rape victim. The physical, emotional and psychological life-lasting trauma of rape simply cannot be compared. You do not just give out random statements using the two -- he is a 50+ year old man who the people in India idolize and are fans of and so he needs to be atleast demonstrate that level of awareness and impact of his words. You cannot get away with using "humor" to joke about/use parallels of serious issues.

By the way is RAPE not a serious issue, especially in India? This is a serious, on-going issue in India where there are hundreds of rape victims. Salman merely represents the mentality of a lot of people, men in particular, that use serious contexts like rape in jest/with ignorance. So, no this issue should make headlines and should make people think and speak out loud. You do not go around joking about it.

Wah.. there are more serious issues happening in the world so lets not focus on how Salman made a complete mockery of a serious crime, A crime which is gaining rise in all parts of the world, A crime which completely shatters the victim and a crime which inflicts not only physical trauma to the victim.. lets forget it all/. Why? Because Salman did not mean to hurt anyone🥱 He used something as serious as rape as a joke he casually refereed to the pain a woman goes through after rape to describe something as menial as workout pain but we are overreacting🤢 Had he been man enough to apologize, he would not have been thrashed.. But no.. That is too much to ask from him.. He is bhai afterall.. A disgusting creature is what he is🤢

There are so many things wrong with his statement that I donno where to start from.

First of all the way he threw in the word so casually like a joke or something, was mind boggling. Spoke a lot about his mentality.
And when he had hundreds of words to choose from to describe his pain, why he had to choose 'rape' to describe his feelings? How does he know what raped women feel both physically n mentally?
He said he felt like a raped women.. Why women? Why not just..he felt violated..or simply raped? Why a raped woman?! His words reek of MCPness.

You know when you are a star, you are obligated to watch your tongue. You can't just say anything and get away with it.

Lastly, its not a crime but it just shows how disrespectful he is towards women. And he talked like an asshole that's why he's called an asshole. He deserves every bit of shit people are throwing towards him. Juist because he's a star with batshit crazy fan following he should not be spared.
Stop justifying him for the love of God.

We are in the Bollywood forum, do you realize this?? And in the Bollywood *forum-world*, THIS is one of the most serious issues and we have every right to diss the insensitive statement made so casually and in *jest* by that pathetic excuse for a man, *Being Dumb* Khan.

You even trying to justify his statement is just plain sad.

I am wondering about the immense guts Salman has. Despite being this insensitive, in few months he will be back in Big Boss bullying weak people and lecture them about respecting women, playing fair, sportsman attitude etc. Hypocrite!

So what you're trying to say is joking about rape is not a big deal. and that its okay if the journos sitting there snickered along with salman.

salman using the word to try and describe being in the wrestling ring is irresponsible, salman has no idea wat its liked to get raped, he doesn't know about the physical and mental torture those women go through, so he cannot use the word rape so lightly and he cant use it to describe the pain of wrestling because it is not the same thing at all
