According to a report in a leading daily, Sharad has a huge fan following in Malaysia and his previous shows and films, have been released in the country and fans of the actor were expecting him to fly down to the country to promote his new show.
As for Sharad, he was quoted as saying that he had never been to Malaysia and hence was excited about it. He said, "It is always great to meet your viewers, especially those who live abroad, and get a direct response from them."
We tried contacting Sharad but could not get through.
