Today Father's Day is a special day in the Scindhia family they were not the typical extended family theirs were filled with second marriages the patriarch Mr. SP Scindhia he had a second wife Radha three of their four sons had second wives. The eldest grand son Vedant he too had been unlucky in love and was now working on his second marriage. His first marriage was arranged but he could not handle a traditional homebody wife like his mother, and his deceased G3 dadi ji .He wanted a wife like his Aarti chachi a modern yet traditional wife who worked, but never neglected her family's responsibilities or their cultural heritage. He definitely did not like his ex chachi Paridhi who left his Prateek chachu for a job as a tv anchor/vj of popular musical and talk show she also was a tv actress. Dating and parting with rich men and some one like her was out of the question; his Yash chachu was instrumental in finding his second wife his Divya she was an orphan like his Aarti chachi and also a designer working in their company he was the proud father of three kids one boy and two girls. Vidhi, and all the Scindhia ladies love her and showered motherly love on her. Vedant first wife they found a nice young man who had lost his wife for her to re marry, she was still a part of their family because her parents had rejected her after the divorce. Today she her husband and their kids were celebrating father's day with the Scindhias as they do every year.

Ansh at age thirty two had so far refused to get married every proposal he rejected, much to the dismay of his family, he is a successful lawyer working with his Taya Pankaj and his elder brother Vedant, Ansh is very handsome and muscular like his Yash papa girls loved being around him they tried their best to trap him in marriage but he resisted all their efforts; he had a secret that only his sister Palak knew she was his best friend his partner in crime.

Palak joined their family's business as a designer like her Aarti mama she was her mama's shadow married to the neighbor's son Ansh best friend she lived next door to her parents and had two kids a boy and girl of her own.

Payel too was married but to the younger brother of Palak's husband who was her best friend from school. This came as a surprise to the Scindhias because as kids and young adults the two fought more that talk. Now after marriage they are happy with a son and daughter of their own; Payel worked as an accountant for the Scindhias Dubeys event management company.

Twenty six year old Ayu is his father and dada ji shadow the CEO of the company who from time to time takes a break to design and organize an event, begging Ansh to temporary take the lead as the CEO.

Ansh will do almost anything and everything for his family's happiness, except get married and Ayu was following in his footsteps much to the horror of his family.

After his divorce Akash married Pryia a simple girl a home maker, who loved being a mother to their daughter Asha and son Vijay. Prateek he had an arranged marriage this time around the girl Chandra was also an orphan whom AarYa befriended at an event and offered her a job as a maid in their home, she give birth to twins a boy and girl Prateek was thrilled at finally becoming a father.

Aarya had their twenty one year old twins Aayan and Aarushi who both worked part time in the family business.

Aarya had convinced Shoba ma and Dubey ji to live with them in their old age.

Father's day was special because they celebrated three generations of fathers.

There was the customary breakfast followed by gifts distribution followed by a friendly cricket game then lunch and afternoon rest

Ansh give a portrait of the men in their family; all generations adopted son's grandsons and grand fathers; he give a similar one for mother's day of all the ladies. Ansh who has inherited his mamma genes and passion for art loved doing portraits.

Unknown to Ansh and Ayu two special families were invited for tea and dinner they were surprised when Aarti summoned them to the lounge. Sitting there were Mansi maasi with her family, and Aaman mama with his family after all the greetings and blessings were completed Yash told his sons that their wedding were arranged and that there will be no backing down this time.

Ansh wanted to die how can his beloved papa be a dictator and demand that he wanted him to marry. Marry who Aaman mama daughter Krystel no way she was ten years his junior and as far as her remember a studious work alcoholic, while Ayu will marry Mansi maasi daughter the beautiful, funny Kratika no way how was this even fair Kratika is his friend yes she is seven years his junior but they both liked, and respected each other truth to be told they loved each other and dreamt of a life together.

Ansh watched his papa and saw him smiling "Ansh beta what wrong don't you like my decision have I ever lead you wrong? You know how much I love you my chubby beta" he teased

For the first few years that Ansh lived with his papa Yash loved hugging him and calling him his chubby beta, his champ.Yash and Ansh had a strong father son relationship based on love trust friendship and mutual respect.

"Papa don't call me that I am your muscular beta now" he made a baby face making all present laugh every one knew, and accepted the special bond Ansh and Yash shared.

"Well make your papa proud and say yes to the wedding" said Yash

Ansh watched his father closely then smiled and said yes.

"Bhayia you don't know who you are agreeing for" said Ayu

"I trust papa Ayu"

"Well then let us have the engagement one time today before my champ changes his mind" laughed Yash

Everyone stood up, Palak and Payel had the rings for their brothers a pundit made an appearance the mother took their positions for the rituals to begin then it was time for the bride mother to welcome her son in law with arti Mansi did Ansh and all was waiting for his reaction he just smiled Aaman's wife did for a happy beaming Ayu

Then the ring exchange still no reaction from Ansh Yash knew his chubby beta was happy but was too shy to express his feelings.

"Ansh bhayia say something " said Aarushi

"Yeah bhayia are you happy?" asked Aayan

"Of course I am happy I am getting married to the girl I love"

"Really then how did papa know?" asked the twins together

"Because I know my children you may try and keep secrets from your mama and I but we eventually find out" laughed Yash

Ansh looked at Palak for she alone knew she shook her head "Bhayia I did not break my promise to you, I don't know how papa found out"

"Ansh you are my son of course I noticed the difference in you when Kratika is around or when we just happen to mention her name." said Yash "and as for Ayu he came out and said he wants to marry Krystel"

This is a shocker to Ansh maami ji is a Caucasian from Denmark and bua dadi ji is not objecting nor is dada ji he could understand them allowing him to marry Krystel he did not have Scindhia blood running through his veins but Ayu.

"My boys have made this the best father's day so far they have agreed to marriage and not only that they actually got engage Aarti pinch me I must be dreaming" Yash teased his boys and laughed all in the family joined in the laughter.

The day of the grand double wedding came all had a grand time Yash proudly welcome his two bahus into their family with a beaming Aarti who never left his side.
