A good post...When a show ends up with different sets of writers again & again, the story goes haywire...this is what we as viewers have been subjected to in this show. The original story & characters were so well sketched initially...but with new writers came new ideas , the plots changed & finally we have to come to witness this disaster.
So, I would say the writers suffer from Amnesia for sure.

As for characterization...during the face off, I understand VIPs initial reaction when he saw Dhani.
He was shocked, surprised , relieved, happy all at once & his first question...why did she not inform him that she was alive? ...Is natural & acceptable.
But further on, irrespective of how Dhani reacted, he should have apologized for his behavior , for when he had angrily blurted at her before he sent her back to the ashram & all. That would have been a first step in clearing their misunderstandings & a fresh start .
But no, the writers & PH have decided to continue with the cycle of MUs by using the vamp as a central character in the show. So as long as she is here, Vip & Dhani will be the victims.
And the audience, the silent sufferers.

Our original show is long gone...only remains as a sweet memory to many of us.

hurt and disappointed hardly forget a people who were hurt or even forget quickly, and do not feel that they hurt someone.
