"I don't wanna talk to you, can't you understand this?" She snapped at Rishi shekhawat, who standing at some distance away from her house, waiting for her.
"But beta, won't you listen to me once? I am your father-"
"Don't! Don't you dare to call yourself my father, mr. shekhawat. I can never accept you as my father. I am not my mother whom you can fool with your emotional talks." Her patience was wearing off, she couldn't tolerate the presence of the man standing infront of her.
"But-" Rishi started off, but taani showed her palm to him, stopping him.
"Please don't make my life more difficult. Society and your kids has already made it hell, for being Rishi shekhawat's illegitimate child. I don't want any more complications." Taani said to him brokenly, she had grown up being called an illegitimate child, someone who shouldn't be born but it did. She had been seen as a sin and treated as a dirt by the society.
"You are not a common man, whatever you do, make headlines in media. After lots of years, finally we are coming back to normal, living our life peacefully. Please don't ruin it." Taani pleaded to him, anger was replaced by helplessness making Rishi lowered his eyes in shame and guilt.
"Bye, mr. shekhawat." She gave a sad smile to him and walked away from there.

When she entered the college, she found Rey singhania beating the crap out of a guy.
"Poor guy." She thought to herself with pity for the poor guy, who was receiving bad boy's wrath.
Taani walked inside, she frowned when she found almost everyone staring at her. She looked around, she could hear them whispering something and she was sure, it was something about her.
Taani spotted alina at some distant and she rushed to him.
"Alina, what happened? Why are they staring at me like they had seen some ghost?" Taani asked her confusingly.
"Babes, see the college website. There is an article about you and rey with an inappropriate picture of you both. And did you see, Rey was beating that guy? Well, thats because that guy said some bad stuff about you." Alina filled her in with all the information.
Taani gasped in shock, she hurriedly took out her cell phone and opened the college website.

She read it loud, the headline of the article. And then the whole article, where some nasty things about her were written. Tears brimmed in her eyes, she scroll down and saw the photo. It was from the early morning, when they were sleeping in each other's arms on the college terrace.
She wiped her tears furiously and ran away from there, ignoring the calls of her best friend who ran after her, worried for her.
